re: Experts Conner Herman & Kira Ryan

Suggestios needed for my 5 month old sleeping in his crib.  He has a sleigh crib, so the top and bottom flare out.  I was told do not use bumper pads since he can scoot and roll into the sides and to the top of the crib- as he may suffocte since he can not get away from those situations.  My problem is without the pads he gets his arms or legs thru the crib rungs and it does not hurt, but scares him as he can't get them back in the crib on his own.  What can I use besides the bumper pad to prevent this?  Because of it being the sleigh crib even a tight sleeve will not work as where it flares out the sleeve would allow his limbs to get thru at those points.  Thank you!!

We had the same problem.  I found a breathable bumper pad that we picked up at Babies R Us. I believe the brand name was Jolly Jumper.  Our daughter is 7 months old and has been using it since she was 3 months.

re: Experts Conner Herman & Kira Ryan

I have two young children and one on the way. My two year old - no matter the circumstances...will not sleep. I don't know why. I've tried schedules and set bedtimes, but he rarely naps during the day and STILL won't go to bed before midnight. Sometimes if he takes a nap, he's up till 3 or 4.  When he doesn't have a nap, he will get tired around 8 or 9 but then he'll sleep for about 2 or 3 hours then he's up till 4 or 5 am. I have a one year old daughter who goes to bed no problems at nap or night time. So, she's in bed by 8pm and out for the night until 8 or 8:30 am. Then naps between 10 & 11. This third pregnancy leaves me more tired than I have ever been my whole life. I'm only 21 years old. I haven't taken very good care of myself, food wise and such. Don't take drugs or drink alcohol. But, my body is falling apart because I'm just running on "fumes" I'm so tired and NEVER get to sleep...any help?
