re: Infant Tylenol Recall

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

how far back do they want us to go - what product batch is this from?  I mean, do I need to throw mine out if I bought it 2 months ago or only if I recently bought it?!  More info please!

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

Anyone looking for more info should click on the link at the bottom of the list.  It seems to answer most of the questions asked so far.  It looks like generics and motrin are NOT included, only Tylenon.  There are specific batch #s listed on the link.  It looks like they are over a year old, so it's possible we've had it and already used it up.

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

For those of you wondering about which lot#'s this recall pertains to: click on the link in the bottom of the article!  This takes you to the Tylenol website, which states EXACTLY which lot#'s are recalled.  Motrin is NOT included (completely different product).  The lot# on your Tylenol is found on the bottom of the box or on the label on the bottle.

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

I did call the company today, and it was not helpful! It said that due to high volume of calls, my call could not be answered, and to check the website for complete info! I don't know how or if I can get a new bottle!

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

Personally, I wouldn't want a new bottle of anything from a brand that's doing a recall right now, especially when considering to give it to my child.

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

I use the Target generic and am not concerned.  They come from completely different factories.

Honestly, though, read the bulletin on the Tylenol website.  It's very thorough.

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

So my boycott list is as follows:

1. Nuby because their teethers contain a bacteria that can kill you.

2. Fisher Price because their toys contain lead.

3.Anything made in China because they use lead filled materials.

4. Babi Italia because the crib I bought was recalled because the drop side falls randomly and can cause serious injury or death.

5. Tylenol because they suck too.

...And my son is only 9 months old, this list is going to be huge by the time he's two.

geez.

re: Infant Tylenol Recall

Just to make a few things clear... I just called Tylenol (1-800-962-5357) about this recall and they told me that the only products involved were in the WHARE HOUSE. None had reached RETAIL stores. So none of us need to worry! The women I talked to confirmed this with me many times. She checked my lot number and if you have a lot # starting with SLM, rest assure those were not involved at all. If you want to call and find out this information for yourself it is really easy to get through, just keep pushing "0" over and over again - that's what I did!
