Last week I had made no progess, however, this week for my 38th week appt I am still 4 cm but I am also 90 percent effaced and -1 station. I am praying I go on my own, however, they did setup a c-section date for next thursday. He said my water could break any moment and I could still go. I asked him to strip my membranes hoping that well help. So far I have had some cramping and a couple instense contractons but nothing consistent. I will be bummed if I have to have a c-section but at least I know a date and can plan for it, if it doesnt happen before. I just want little man to be here healthy and ok. I just wish I could also do it on my own.

I am down to an appt a week. Last week I was at 3 cm and 50 percent effaced. Today I went for my appt and I am 4 cm and 80 percent effaced. I was told it could be anytime. I am so nervous about this. Dr said to come in if my contractions got worse. I have been having them on and off for a few weeks now. I think little man wants out and at this point I dont blame him, we both are getting uncomfy. :) He is already at station -2. I am excited to meet him but so freaked out about labor, last time was a c-section and the epidural was so strong I never felt anything. I am hoping for natural and being able to push but it does scare me. Will keep you posted. Going to try and rest for now.

I am so far behind on the blog. Didnt realize it had been this long since I posted. We had our 32 week growth ultrasound and everything looked great. He is measuring on track for everything but his head and legs but they said it all evened out. He was around 4 lbs at the time of the scan. Doctor said he thinks he will be around 7 lbs at birth and that I cant be induced this time. Inducing would increase uterine rupture. So it is a wait and see game and if I dont go into labor and I am not progressing by week 39 then we will talk c-section. I am scared and nervous of the unknown. I am such a planner. I worry about what to do about DD as well and how she will adapt. However, as long as he is healthly who cares how he gets here. :) On another note, we had our baby shower and I got alot of clothes. He is set for 0-3 mth clothes now. DH also took some really good maternity pictures. Everyone thought they were great. Also, DD's is almost done. DH got the painting done the day before the furniture arrived. It is looking great. Now I just have to get everything organized in her room and little man's. So much to do and so little time. It is getting so close now and I am getting more and more braxton hicks every day. Getting uncomfy now, hard to sit, stand or lay for long periods. I am also leaking now, fun times. Counting down the days to the end. It is fun to watch him move in my belly now, DH pushes and he moves to the other side of my tummy. Its fun to watch them play already, lol. DD said last night she wants him to come out and play with her. We are all excited and cant wait to meet our little man!!!

I had my 28 week check up and everything is ok except that I am mildly anaemic. I have to take an iron pill each day. At first it made me queasy but I think I am getting used to it. DH now calls little man "iron man", lol. I had the nasty orange drink to check for GD and I am ok. Little man is kicking and moving alot lately. The other night I had mexican and he went crazy making my stomach move all over the place. DH poked on my stomach and he would kick back. Week 29 and my birthday, yeah! Mom watched DD and we got to go do some outlet shopping. We picked out little man's coming home outfit, it is so cute with a jacket that has a whale on it. Cant wait to bring him home in it. I also found some good deals for DD. Today I am in week 30, we are making progress on DD's new big girl room. Almost cleared out the room and we have the paint picked out, I think. ;) I am so anixous to have it done and get her in there asap. I want her to adjust before baby gets here. I have my week 30 check up on Monday, I go every two weeks now. Cant wait until week 32 for the growth ultrasound and we can see our little man again. Well I think that is all for now. :)

Wow, I am really behind on my blog. Just been busy trying to keep up with DD and growing little man. My week 24 appt went ok, just a routine appt. I have made it to thrid tri now, only three more months. Its scary how close it is getting, I dont feel ready, so much to do. We are trying to get DD's new room ready so we can put little man in her old room. It is going very slow, wish we were painting already. My shower is set for March, excited about that. Also, planning DD's birthday party. March will be a busy month. I have been collecting a few outfits for the baby, trying to figure out his newborn photo outfit and coming home outfit. Also, trying to find something for me to wear. It has been hard to find something that will work for now and later. I ordered some things that should be in soon, we will see how they work. We are also planning a day to go outlet shopping. I hope we find some good deals. It will be our day out and away before baby comes. I have my sugar test next appt, I hope I pass it. Well I think that is all for now. :)

We had a wonderful and tiring Christmas! We went somewhere every night for a week. We did a gender reveal at each grandparents house. I got a blue snowman ornament and wrote it's a boy on it. We had each grandparent open it as a Christmas gift. It was great to see all the reactions, my grandparents reaction was priceless. We got everyone on video and made a video keepsake of everyone's reactions. I think most everyone is thrilled to have another boy in the family. We are so excited!!! I dont think DD has caught on to what everything means yet but hopefully she will be thrilled too! Our little boy has been bouncing away and feel more and more movement each day. He loves to get super active when I sit down at the end of the day. I also think he has had the hiccups a time or two. Now to pin down a name and get his room and DD's room together. Cant wait to meet our little guy!

We are so excited we found out that we are having a "boy"!!!! We went to the ultrasound and I couldnt decide if we were going to find out or not. I had the tech put it in an envelope so we could decide later. I heard her type on the keyboard and also heard a pronoun. I was pretty sure what it was and so excited. As soon as we got home I had DH open it and tell me what it was. Beyond excited and plan to tell the family at Christmas. I went out and bought Christmas ornaments they are snowman dressed in blue and I wrote "It's a boy" on them. It is so hard to keep this a secret. I just know my family is going to be so excited since all we have is girls. I am worried about knowing what to do with a little boy but I am sure we will be fine. He certainly a bouncing baby boy, he was constantly changing positions and hiding his face. He even stood on his head at one point and winked. It was so wild and crazy to see!

I dont have a bunch of news to share, except for the quad screen came back normal :) and I can really feel the baby moving these days. I think it is the best part of being pregnant. We took DD to see Santa at DH's work and now both of them are sick with the flu. So I havent been paying attention to my blog. Just trying to keep everyone healthy. We have our big ultrasound next week. I struggle with finding out and not finding out. I keep going back and forth. I want to be team green but my curiousity keeps getting the better of me. So curious to see if this baby will be a boy or girl. We will see if I can remain strong. :)
