Q: What are some signs that I might have a reproductive disorder?

Dr. Joseph Hill: Speak with your doctor if you notice any of the following symptoms, which are all signs of a potential reproductive disorder.

Pelvic pain lasting more than six months that interferes with your lifestyle

Painful periods, especially if over the counter medications like ibuprofen don't help 

Pain or bleeding with intercourse

Irregular periods (less than 23 or more than 36 days apart)

Vaginal bleeding or spotting between periods

Difficulty becoming pregnant (12 months of trying if under age 35, six months if age 36-40, four months if over age 40)
