Q: What are some signs that I might have a reproductive disorder?
Dr. Joseph Hill: Speak with your doctor if you notice any of the following symptoms, which are all signs of a potential reproductive disorder.
□ Pelvic pain lasting more than six months that interferes with your lifestyle
□ Painful periods, especially if over the counter medications like ibuprofen don't help
□ Pain or bleeding with intercourse
□ Irregular periods (less than 23 or more than 36 days apart)
□ Vaginal bleeding or spotting between periods
□ Difficulty becoming pregnant (12 months of trying if under age 35, six months if age 36-40, four months if over age 40)
