Boycotting the Highchair

Posted Wednesday, August 22, 2007 3:23 PM

For those of you who's tots are turning into toddlers, you'll understand what I mean when I say that eating in a restaurant (other than the pizza parlor, chinese joint or the diner) is off-limits. And most of that has to do with the sudden revolt against the highchair. Wyatt's decided he wants to sit a big boy chair, eat with a big boy fork, and when he's done, get the check as soon as possible in fear that his good behavior will disappear like Cinderella's carriage when the clock strikes 12.

But, on CNBC's Big Idea with Donny Deutsch aired last week, I saw the best invention ever! The Kaboost literally snaps on to any chair and gives an instant lift while looking supercute and super-portable. Literally, "why didn't I think of that?!". I cannot wait to get my hands on this little gadget -- and get my little guy to sit in his seat -- at least at home.

re: Boycotting the Highchair

Wow! Cooper is not yet near the point of sitting in a big boy chair but that thing is really cool!! It's like a booster seat, that literally boosts up the seat.

This is awesome Amy! What a great new invention! I love it and I definitely think I'm buying one for Jack for sure! Thanks! He will be thrilled to sit at the table w/ us finally and I've been searching for a great booster seat. Love it!
