re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Well, I didn't breastfeed long enough to have a weird place. That doesn't mean these pillows don't work well with bottle fed babies. It actually helps alot. Anywho, weirdest place I have fed my baby was on top of a mountain when we were hiking.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

well I'm expecting my first so I can't comment on my weirdest place but I can def. comment on a weird situation my husband and I were in when we saw a mom breastfeeding!  We went to Disney World 2 months ago and was at the Hollywood Studios park watching their light show called Fantastia.  The stadium is stadium seating so obviously no privacy and while we were sitting there waiting a mom basically pulled her shirt up in front of everyone around her and her 5 year old son began to feed.  She never covered herself or anything so needless to say people around her were a little disturb.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

In my pediatrician's waiting room. My daughter was only like 6 days old and I fed her right before we went to the doctor's office, but she wouldn't stop crying so I put her on my breast and she went to town. I felt a little weird since I am a pretty shy person, but the baby's needs come first. I did have trouble disengaging her so the pediatrician could examine her. Of course that was the only time the pediatrician was running on-time instead of an hour late!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The weirdest place I ever breastfed was at The Dallas Word Aquarium- in the shark tunnel! I was trying to keep my out of town family entertained right after the birth of my 2nd son. So we went there and when it was feeding time, there was no where to sit except in the tunnel where you can view the sharks. So there we sat, under the water, sharks swimming by...nursing!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I was a bridesmaid in an out-of-town wedding when my son was 6 weeks old.  Since I was breastfeeding, he had to make the 7 hour trip from Pennsylvania to Indiana with my husband and I.  We stopped at a rest stop along the Ohio Turnpike--I ended up nursing my son in the "Truckers Rest Lounge".

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

This is a hard one!  I have breastfed some weird places!

I've breastfed while grocery shopping in Hy-Vee.  I just threw him in a sling and we went shopping in the cereal aisle while he nursed.   I've breastfed while eating prime rib at Outback Steakhouse (there's a good story about this in my blog).

Probably the strangest breastfeeding experience was the day I took him to meet my students at a coffee shop.  He decided he had to nurse, so on a couch in front of 15 college students, I latched him on.  That wasn't nearly as embarrassing as when my milk let down all over my shirt though.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

We were at the huge annual Milwaukee Auto Show and I needed a secluded spot to nurse my 6-week-old daughter.  The only place I could find was on a folding chair in the corner of the beer tent!  I hated that I was in a beer tent, but this was the most out-of-the-way spot that I could find.  I turned the chair to face the wall and my husband sat next to me to "watch the crowd" and protect us.  We got the job done  :-)

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

We've nursed lots of interesting places, too, but here are two that stick out: (1) In the stands during a baseball game here at Nationals Park in DC. We'd made a "Baby's First Ballgame" sign and hung it in front of our seats. We were hoping to get on the JumboTron (we didn't). (2) Then, last week, we were going into DC to meet some friends for lunch, and we nursed on the DC subway. It was lunch on the go!

This is my first baby so I haven't had a chance to breastfeed yet but I'm really looking forward to the experience!  We're planning a road trip from Florida to Ohio after the baby is born .  I'm sure there will be some strange places along the way that I will end up breastfeeding in!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I had to nurse our 10 week old daughter during my husband's grandfather's funeral - she woke up in the middle of the service and was hungry.  Since we were in a church, I searched around and had to use the minister's private office.  After the ceremony the minister saw me, commented, and I thanked her profusely.  She in turn told me "oh when our kids were little I had to nurse them wherever also, I totally understand."

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I breastfed in an office in the art museum (I work there, so it wasn't so shocking to the office owner).  During my first visit to my co-workers after my son was born, he was getting really fussy so my colleague let me use her office while she went for some coffee.  A few people knocked on the door, looking for her but were a little surprised to find me with the babe (I had a nursing cover).  No one was offended, as far as I could tell, since they chatted a little with me while I was nursing.

my daughter and i were waiting for my mom at a salon and she was hungry, so i grabbed a blanket to cover myself and sort of hid behind the stroller in a corner of the waiting area. i think this was more embarassing for the guys in there than it was for me!!

The weirdest place I had to breastfeed my daughter was on a fishing boat. My husband and I took out a few family members and our daughter to go fishing. My daughter was new to bottles, but would have nothing to do with them that day.  My husband is still amazed that I can catch the big one while feeding out daughter!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The weirdest place I ever breastfed my son was in a phone booth @ the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, CA.  My best friend was getting married and I was a bridesmaid.  My son was almost 3 months old at this time..but refused to drink from a bottle.  So I had to sneak out during the speeches to breastfeed my son.  Because I lived in the area my husband and I didn't rent a room...and the restrooms didn't have any seating.  So my mother in law blocked the entry way to the public phones while I sat there and breastfed my son.  There were several parties going on that night...so there were lots of people passing by the booth...it was quite uncomfortable since I had to pull down my bridesmaid dress.  I felt naked!  Luckily I had a nursing cover.  And I so wish I had a boppy with me at the time!!!!

The wierdest place I nursed my son was the National Zoo. It was a typical, muggy DC summer day, and he needed fluids. I figured with all the animals' boobs hanging out, mine wouldn't be that exciting or noteworthy.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I've breastfed in all types of restaurants, weddings, stores, etc, but the weirdest place I've breastfed hasn't been exactly breastfeeding quite at all...

We were on our way to a wedding in NYC, heading from Boston.   My daughter was 3 and a half months old.  We stopped to nurse at the IKEA in CT (great nursing room, by the way) and figured we'd be all set for the rest of the trip.  Suddenly, the traffic just STOPS.   We were trapped on the highway for an extra 4 hours!   After about three hours, like clockwork, my daughter gets hungry again.   With no way to get off the highway, I'm freaking out.   I can't take her out of the carseat, its not safe!   I can't take off my seatbelt and nurse her in there - but then I remembered that my car has an outlet plug in it - I had my husband plug my breastpump into the outlet, and I pumped milk for the baby, right in the back of the car, right in the middle of traffic, and then fed her the bottle in her carseat.

That was when I knew I was pretty hardcore. ;-)

No where yet, but I'm sure there will be lot's of strange places once she's born.  I think the strangest place will have to be the automotive detail shop I run.  It's full of men, so I"ll have to get some good blinds for my office!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The weirdest place I have ever breastfed was in a restroom stall. It sounds really bad, but my baby was hungry and I had no were else private enough, the car we had at the time had no A/C in the middle of a hot summer, so I thought it would be much easier and cooler for the both of us if we just went to the restroom. Good thing my baby was not too hungry!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I had to bring my 6 day old baby to the hospital because she had been jaundiced.  After having her foot stuck it about time for her feeding anyway.  The nurses let me use a lab station to breastfeed my baby to calm her down.  This had happened to me twice in two weeks.

IN the back of a police car.

On our way back from a visit with the Grandparents in Ohio--our car broke down on the side of the road.  A Police office let me sit in the back of his car while we waited for the towe truck--it was a very hot July day. Our little one needed to nurse. I told our son --this better be your Only time in the back of a police car!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I had to breastfeed my daughter at my father-in-law's restaurant a few times, which isn't too weird because he lets me use the office. What *was* weird, however, was the fact that my grandpa-in-law came in once not realizing what I was doing and came over and patted DD on the head! He was very embarrassed once he realized what was going on!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I think that the weirdest place that I've breastfed would probably have to be while walking around Target shopping!  Emily was only a couple weeks old, and my mother had flown in for a visit and to help me out and we decided to go shopping.  Well, while shopping Emily got pretty fussy and I found that we'd already blown throught all the pumped bottles that I'd brought with us.  Luckily for me I had on a top that was pretty ideal to breastfeed in (I hadn't planned it that way!), and my mom helped me get situated - right there in the panties and bras section - and get covered, and we kept right on shopping!

We just took our 5 1/2 month old son to the beach for the first time and both days we were there,  I nursed him on the beach! Luckily I have a cover, so we just layed on the blanket under the umbrella and he ate while we listened to the ocean and seagulls!

We've also ate in restaurants, the car, at my desk at work.

I had to nurse my son inthe beauty salon while I was having my hair highlighted. I had to put him under the cape and let him go to town. My hairdresser ( male) was such a good sport considering how much noise he was making while he ate. Lots of grunting and slurping.

I've breastfed on the train to chicago from an hour away, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, at a relative's personal (lingerie) shower, even knelt over the carseat to nurse in the car a couple times.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I've breastfed in all sorts of strange places because we take our daughter with us everywhere. I fed her at the drive-in last night, she's been breastfed in countless restaurants. I've fed her in the middle of the mall and, every week without fail, at my husband's baseball games. I breastfed her at a wedding reception in the middle of dinner. I was helping my mother set up a funeral reception and was breastfeeding her before the funeral started upstairs and some guests came down and found me feeding her. The funny thing is, I don't consider any of these places to be terribly strange because if my baby's gotta eat, she's gotta eat!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Well, my strangest experience with breastfeeding occurred while I was separated from my son. I had jury duty when he was six months old. I was still pretty much his sole source of food, so I knew I would have to pump at some point everyday that the trial went on. I expressed my concerns to the bailiff who assured me there wouldn't be a problem finding time in the day and space for me to pump.

As the day went on, no room had been provided, and I knew I had probably been forgotten about. I asked the bailiff again about where I should go, and the poor, sweet (but obviously semi clueless about the pumping process) man suggested that there was a bench in the courthouse restroom beside the sink.... ugh. Not only would everyone who entered the restroom have a glorious view of the girls expressing milk, but it skeeved me out to be in such a high traffic , germy area producing food for my son.

Soooo, on to Plan B- the jury room. That is how I ended up facing a wall, as far away from the group as possible, using my breast pump to relieve my painfully engored breasts in front of eleven strangers. Everyone pretended politely not to hear the whirring hum of the pump as I wished silently for the floor to open up and swallow me whole. Quite a strange experience overall.

I'm currently pregnant with twins and plan on breastfeeding them as well. If I get jury duty this time around, I'll be sure to make proper pumping arrangements beforehand! :)

Well, my little girl is three months and wants to eat ALL the time!  So, we breastfeed anytime, anywhere.  The weirdest place where we've nursed was at a four year old's birthday party.  All the little girls kept coming over and rubbing her head and asking questions.  One little girl kept asking me "is she biting you"!

While DH & I took my step-daughter swimming, dd got hungry, so I had to go inside the clubhouse of our apartment community and feed her in the sauna provided for residents. Also, at my 4 week post partum visit, I was breastfeeding dd as my doc came in to check me. I didn't think he'd think anything about it, but he looked mildly shocked to see my boob out while dd ate!

My 1st daughter is now six, but when she was still an infant, her father was in the Navy.  I was on the ship with my daughter & we were looking for a secluded spot to nurse her.  Finally, her father realized that the airplane hangar was currently empty.  So there I sat, on top of a wooden crate, in an airplane hangar, on a US Navy ship.  I always laugh when I think about it!  It was just too surreal!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Wow, the weirdest place? I nurse him everywhere so its hard to think of the weirdest. Perhaps a dressing room? I was shopping for some post babybody clothes at Express and nursed him in the dressing room while I was in the middle of trying on clothes. Or perhaps the backseat of my car? I nurse there all the time. We even had my car windows tinted as dark as possible so I could have privacy in the car whenever needed. We refer to it as my "nursing cave".

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

There have been a few odd places I've breastfed, like on the trail during Memorial Day weekend at the local National Wildlife Refuge with 10 or so more hikers passing by while I sat in the only clearing for literal miles, but the strangest for me was behind the concessions counter at our local golf course.  We are regulars, so the owner let me use a chair behind a privacy wall (sort of an office space) in the club house when we were visiting my husband and cheering him on during a tourney.  There were tons of people around...mostly men...and my car was parked in a pretty public area so that wasn't a great option, so behind the counter next to the refrigerator was it.  It was more weird for me to listen in on the golf chatter when no one knew I was there than actually using that spot.  It was pretty cozy and remains a backup for future golf course visits!

When dd was 6 wks old, my husband deployed for 15 months to Iraq.  Deployment day was filled with tons of emotion, but liitle dd still needed to eat.  I breastfeed her sitting on the bleachers in a stadium full of soldiers and families minutes before having to say goodbye - talk about a sureal experiance.

The weirdest place I've breastfed is probably right in my seat at Turner Field at an Atlanta Braves game.  My son was hungry and we were at the game, so I threw on the Hooter Hider and fed him-- three times during the game!  I've also breastfed right in the middle of Toys R Us.  They didn't have a chair anywhere so I sat on top of a toy chest they had on display and fed him right there.  A couple people passed, but they just smiled at me!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Honestly, I can't think of anywhere I haven't nursed my kids (2 so far, one due in December)! I've nursed in the back seat of my car on the side of the road, I've used a hand pump in the front seat while my husband drove and climbed in back to bottle feed, I've nursed in the WalMart changing room, most restaurants, houses of friends, relatives. Basically, wherever we are hen our baby is hungry, that's where I nurse :) It's a natural and beautiful thing! I'll admit, I was a little shy at first with my oldest, but after a while it just became second nature!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The weirdest and probably the grossest place I've ever nursed my daughter is on the floor of a bathroom stall at O'Hare airport. My husband, DD and I were early for our flight, so I took her into the ladies room hoping they'd have a nursing stall like they do at National Airport in DC (complete with a bench and an outlet if you need to pump!)

Unfortunately, O'Hare's not so up on the amenities. Also, all the toilets were automatic, so even if I just sat down on the toilet to nurse, it probably would have flushed a zillion times. Not exactly conducive to a calm nursing session! So, I did what I had to do. I put the changing pad from our diaper bag on the floor of the handicapped stall and we cuddled up! I did pretty good about not letting either of us touch anything except the changing pad and each other. I wish more airports were sensitive to the needs of families with young children!

(By the way, has anyone else been to IKEA recently? Just used their Baby Care bathroom for the first time last weekend - awesome! It's totally separate from the other restrooms. There's not even a toilet in there. There are chairs so you can sit and nurse, a changing station with diapers and table liners PROVIDED, and a Diaper Genie! Love it!)

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I worked as a bartender at a Mexican restaurant before I had DS and continued to do so up until I gave birth to him.  About a month after I had DS a coworker had a quinceanera for her daughter.  She planned on having a fully stocked bar and needed a sober bartender (who stays sober at a quinceanera???) so of course I was the first choice since I was beast feeding.  We had already been invited months before so we had already planned on being there.  About halfway through the night DH ran out of expressed milk and since DS was hungry, I placed him in his sling and nursed him while I was tending the bar.  Awful I know, but a mother's gotta do what she's gotta do!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I didn't intend for this to be weird, but I was at a large farmer's market with my mom and it was time for DD to eat.  It was too hot to sit in the car which is where we usually nurse when we're out and about.  It was pretty crowded everywhere, but I found a shady spot next to a tree.  There were parking spots for motorcycles, but there was only one parked there, so I figured it would be fine.  No sooner did DD get latched on and start to eat and another motorcycle came.  And another.  And another.  Of course, the loud roaring of Harleys did nothing for her concentration on nursing.  She's five months old and just HAS to know what is going on all the time.  I don't use a nursing cover because she doesn't like things covering her head, so I've gotten pretty good about being private about nursing in public.  But, every time her little head popped up to see the arrival of another bike, there was my nipple for all the world to see!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I have to agree with some others, i'm currently pregnant, but heard ALL about how great the Boppy pillow is and its a "must have" item.  as a story i've seen though, i worked at a restaurant in Texas.  A lot of people are pretty out in the open (see where this is going?).  The restaurant i worked in had little 'private' coves with 1 table that seated 4.  Each had a curtain, but, had a window on each side...so hyou could see the next table, or into the room.

The new mom decided she was 'enclosed' enough and out came her breast.  Baby not even latched on yet!  Some of the other patrons walking by surely had a "dinner and a show" so to speak.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The county fair has always been a big part of our lives.  I usually help out during the swine show.  The year that I had my son I had to have someone watch him while I helped during the show.  He was very finicky and didn't take a bottle well that day.  In the afternoon on the day of the show, a terrible storm ripped through the fair grounds.  We had to take cover in the building.  Since we were stuck in the building huddled around each other trying not to get wet, I took the opportunity to feed my son.  There were about 60 people taking shelter there.  It will be interesting to see what happens this year at the fair with our new daughter.

I think perhaps the weirdest place I ever breastfed was in a David's Bridal store in Maine.  My mother, sisters, and I were shopping for bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding and my son was hungry.  So we walked around David's Bridal with me carrying my nursing my son (while all of the little old ladies that worked there sent me looks!).  It was fantastic! ;)

Thanks for the opportunity to win a much-needed boppy!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I have nursed in a lot of places, bathrooms while out to dinner, stores, a friend's house during dinner party's! But I think the weirdest place I have nursed is a very busy lab while my week old son was getting a blood test done.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I was at the mall with my mom and daughter and we were in Sephora and I wanted to get a makeover. So in the middle of it my daughter decided she was hungry so I nursed her in the middle of Sephora and in the middle of my makeover. You do what you gotta do!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

It probably isn't too strange for some people, but for me it was!

I had to feed my son in our car in a high school parking lot!

We were in the middle of a car trip to his great grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary party and our baby decided he couldn't make it the whole way.  We had to put one of his receiving blankets over the window and roll it up for a sun shade and my poor hubby had to try to change a poopy diaper in the back seat while the wind was blowing in!

It was definitely an adventure for us!

(On the trip back we made sure to feed him right before we left so there wouldn't have to be any other random stops!)

I haven't had to breastfeed in too many strange spots yet.  I have had to breastfeed in various parks and cars though in our travels!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

When the Bodyworlds exhibit came to Portland last year, I was dying to go.  Trouble is, almost everyone I know was totally creeped out by the plastinated human bodies, or the idea of them, or whatever.  So... I took my then 10 week old son by myself.  I didn't realize the tour was so long, or had a once you're in you're in rule, so when the baby got hungry, I sat on one of the few benches within the exhibit and nursed away.

It wasn't lost on many that I was sitting right next to one of the few female forms they had there.  I just had to chuckle to myself - I think I was studied as intensely as many of the models.   I had a nursing wrap, so no free boob shots, but  it was VERY obvious what was going on under that blanket!

The strangest place I ever breastfed is at a musical recital for my older daughter.  I didn't want to leave and miss any of her recital so I breastfed my son right there in the front row!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I'm not comfortable (or coordinated enough yet) nursing in public, so I go out of my way to find privacy when nursing. For this reason I have nursed in my car frequently when out and about. I keep thinking of buying one just to keep in the car!

The one time I nursed her in public was when I went for a (too) long walk. The path I was on was pretty deserted so I thought  I would try it and wouldn't you know, literally almost 20 people passed by while I nursed her!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Well, I think we all get to a point during a road trip when the leaning over the backseat and nursing baby in the car seat becomes the only road to peace, so that isn't that weird. I think my proudest have-breast-will-nurse-anywhere moment was as we raced to finish preparing our house for sale. I had our first daughter strapped in the Baby Bjorn on my chest, resting on one knee, I got her latched on and proceeded to paint the lattice beneath our front porch.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

At the zoo.  I put her in a carrier and put a hooter hider over the top.  We walked around the zoo while she was eating.   I didn't want to hold the group up so I got creative.

In the bathtub during a tornado warning

In the backseat of the car while she was screaming from her car seat

On a toliet

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I haven't had my baby yet, but I used to work at a group home for infants. The Boppy pillows are really useful for cradling a baby when they are on the floor, and many other things!

My husband works at a coffee shop, and there was a woman nursing in line while she was ordering her coffee.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I have 2 month old twins and only breastfed the first 2 weeks before figuring out it was too hard and i didn't have enough milk...but the weirdest feeding experience for me was in the parking lot of wal-mart. I heard these pillows are great for feeding twins though!!

I had to climb into the back seat and breast feed my hungry baby while at a 30 minute oil change place.  Fortunately the windows are a bit tinted.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

Well, since I found this posted under the TTC section, I hope I'm not unfairly excluded for the fact that I've been unable to have a child to breastfeed thus far.  So I have a different story to share.  When DH  and I were going through Pre-Cana (marriage prep classes) we met with a natural family planner.  At one session she had her baby with her.  Without missing a beat during the presentation, she lifted up her blouse and started nursing.  I was impressed that she was so comfortable with it.  I think I'd feel self conscious in front of strangers.  But maybe that will change with time.  I can't wait to find out!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

There have been a few unique places where I've nursed. At meetings, baseball games, family events, etc. Here are a few that stand out.

When DD #1 was 6 months old, I was MOH for my best friend's wedding. She wasn't taking a bottle and was a mess by reception time. So, I took her to the parlor of the bathroom, pulled my strapless dress down and bared all to nurse my screaming baby. It didn't even matter which way I turned because all of the walls were mirrored! There were two other weddings going on in the hall, so needless to say, everyone got a show!

Another time, when DD was about 4 months old, we went to the Cubs game at Wrigley Field. We had bought bleacher seats, so there I was in 80 degree heat, sweating, sitting on a bleacher, trying to nurse my starving baby. It was so loud she couldn't focus and I couldn't let down. We ended up heading out in the 7th inning. My back was so sore after that!

And one other time I was pregnant with DD #2 and still nursing #1. We were shopping at Kohl's and I couldn't find anywhere to sit and nurse. I finally asked the service desk and they moved a chair into the bathroom for me. Of course, it was right in front of the bathroom entrance, so everyone got to see a pregnant nursing lady as soon as they walked in! Welcome Kohl's shoppers!

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

i know its late, but since there are others still posting i thought i would too...

when my daughter was born, she was a nursing champion.. always hungry, never took to the bottle, i nursed her everywhere... i was reading online that up til 1994 you couldnt nurse on federal property, and apalled, i started taking my daughter out just about everyday. to the grocery store, the mall, the courthouse (i had to pay a fine)... people used to give me the strangest looks... one time i was in toys r us ( of all places) and shelby got hungry... so i found a seat and started to feed her... i was apropriately covered when this old woman comes to me and says "you are making people uncomfortable... they would rather listen to a screaming baby then see that... please go outside until you are finished...". to this day, i will not shop at any tru or babies r us. breastfeeding is not a crime, no one should ever have to hide it.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

In a toilet stall at the mall, on a plane, at the zoo in front of the elephant exhibit. Notice the progression? I'm leaving for france soon and my husband called the hotel (my french is a little rusty and it's his first language) to ask about breast-feeding laws in France. Anyway, she got confused with his Canadian accent and understood cloths instead of breastfeeding. For those who need to know, your children are welcome to run around naked in France, but you should consider clothing. Breastfeeding in Public is fine too.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The wierdest place would have to be while my husband was trying on suits I snuck into the dressing room at a mens suit store and fed my son. While I was in there someone actually walked in on me. Very embarasing

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

the weirdest place was when my daughter was 3 months old and I was visiting friends in Maryland.  My friends car broke down, and we were stuck on the side of the highway for 4 hours waiting on a tow truck.  When a baby has to eat, they have to eat.  It wasn't the best or the most comfortable place, but it worked.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

I haven't had my baby yet, but I was in the weirdest situation while someone was breast feeding next to me.  I was at a friends wedding, during the ceremony, a mother and her child were sitting behind me.  The child was crying and to take care of it the mom decided to breastfeed him to allow the ceremony to go on.  I was shocked that it was happening at a wedding.  There are other places in the church to take care of that.  I am sure I will have my fair share of stories when I have my child.  I would love to use the boppy while experiencing breastfeeding.  Thank you.

re: Boppy Nursing Pillow Giveaway Contest!

The wierdest place I breastfed was in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant. We were on a long trip in the car and i needed a quick opportunity to feed the baby without getting out of the car. We took a quick lunch break from the road and I fed the baby too! I got some wierd looks from the window attendants... (Yes, of course I put him back in the car seat before we hit the road!)
