4 out of the 5 are pg.  I'm pretty sure that's not an accurate representation of the women on these boards.

re: The Bump Avatars

Where are the Post pregnancy, new mommy ones? You know, the flabby overweight stretch marked ones that look like they have not showered in days?

re: The Bump Avatars

You know... people aren't pregnant forever. I'm just sayin... eventually the baby comes out and you don't have a bump.

re: The Bump Avatars

at least there is a "brown" girl now ...looks like she's bumpless too, I'll take that one please.

re: The Bump Avatars

I'll keep my own pic thanks...I was only pregnant for 9 months...

re: The Bump Avatars

Unless you have one depicting a woman with a barren & defunct uterus, I'll just stick with my own photo.  Thanks for trying . . . I guess.

re: The Bump Avatars

How about one of a woman who is not pregnant, since all the ones with full bellies are like throwing salt on the wounds of those who have been unsuccessfully TTC.  A little sensitivity would go a long way.

re: The Bump Avatars

WTF? at the adoption board we have REPEATEDLY asked for non PG avatars, and KNOT employees always asure us our comments are appreciated and taken into consideration. Um, no.

How often would you want to be reminded that you FAIL at conception??? Or what about all the women on the adoption board that FIRST choose adoption and have NO DESIRE to be PG???

Ug.

re: The Bump Avatars

Can you please add  more options?  I think the general consensus is to have a more fair represntation of the different situations of the women on the board.  A few choices of non-pregnant avatars and avatars of other ethnic origins would be sincerely appreciated.  Thank you.

re: The Bump Avatars

Yes, we'll definitely add some more variety, but wanted to quickly give you a non-pregnant option and a few other choices.  We'd love for you to use your own photos for avatars--they're much better than anything we come up with, but for those of you who want to use ours, keep your suggestions coming!

re: The Bump Avatars

Is there a place on here to find other avatars/badges?

re: The Bump Avatars

these suck.  i want a blonde, hot, red lipstick non pregnant one.  oh yeah, make my measurements 34 25 36, you know, flat stomach.  oh make it look like i just got my roots touched up too, because i haven't done that in MONTHS.

re: The Bump Avatars

How about a My Inner Mommy creator, like the Inner Bride one at the knot?  Add a bump and/or add a baby, etc.  Add the bags under the eyes, the frazzled expressions, the stretch marks, and then have a button to automatically make it your image instead of having every Bump user save their own personal copy of the exact same image.

re: The Bump Avatars

You can google image search "pregnant icons" or "pregnant avatars" and find a TON. You can easily save those and use on here. That's what I did. Good luck!

re: The Bump Avatars

These are really lame. They should update them with all races and belly sizes.

re: The Bump Avatars

You would think you are all paying for these graphics you so eargerly demand.  As a graphic designer I feel for the staff of thebump.com - this work is not free nor is their time.  Yet they offer so many free tips, suggestions etc, and they get this disrespect.  Shame Shame.

re: The Bump Avatars

The site is called "The Bump" after all, so I think it makes sense to have avatars with a bump...  And you can always use your own pic if you prefer.

re: The Bump Avatars

there are NOT enough options. and how about being able to personalize things like hair color, length, style....or clothing color, style, etc.

BabyCenter has WAY better avatars, even if they are just feet.  :)

re: The Bump Avatars

Some of you women sound soo immature.  It's REALLY not that serious!!!

re: The Bump Avatars

You should have costumizable ones. Because I have lost my bump almost! And there should be one where you are holding a baby.

Thank You!

(I also think that there could be more variety.)

re: The Bump Avatars

ya these arent that really great to choose from, but then again maybe everyone who is disappointed should go look for others or be original and make there own lk i did... its really not that hard.. do something for urself for a change

re: The Bump Avatars

It's not that serious ladies.  Like Mikliza24 said, just find one on your own or make one yourself.  Mine wasnt one of the options above, but when I looked at "How big is baby", I saw one that I liked and copied and saved it.  It resembles me the most, again its not that serious!

re: The Bump Avatars

more options please, can we just design our own avatars? You should never assume this is what all people look like.

re: The Bump Avatars

So when I immediately saw avatar options I was elated but upon noticing the seriously limited options I began to frown :(

Then the creative genius in me said 'Eff it'! You can make your own, find your own or just grin and bear it.

Really, there are so many other things to blow steam over... Like the bogus 6wks maternity leave these jobs try to throw at us! Like they're doin us a favor.

*grin*

re: The Bump Avatars

It's a free website people.  AND... the website is called "The Bump."  I'm pretty sure that's referring to pregnancy, but I could be wrong.  I always thought that meant they were already being sensitive and expanding out with the boards that have nothing to do with actually being pregnant.  Go worry about something else!

re: The Bump Avatars

Why are people being so snotty about this? It's a silly little avatar for a website. No need to be demanding brats. All of you who are TTC and making a big fuss, stop and think: are the people at the bump REALLY trying to make you feel bad? I think not. Be thankful for all the tools and support this website has to offer (for FREE) instead of complaining about a little picture.
