Pregnancy - Those little flutters, kicks, elbows and rolls from the life you're growing inside you.  Knowing that you're doing your best to ensure a healthy baby makes up for all the aches, pains, sleepless nights, all-day sickness, and mood swings.

Motherhood - That first and all other belly laughs.  The first time your little one wants to give you a kiss & won't stop just because you're covered in drool.  Seeing glimpses of yourself and your DH in a little person who couldn't have possibly learned that trait even if you tried to teach them.  Breathtakingly beautiful!

The best part of pregnancy is the time you get to sit with you spouse and really reflect on things from the past and for the future. Having that alone time for the last few months is soo important and I have cherished every second of it.

My favorite part about being pregnant is how close it has made me and my husband grow.  From planning the nursery to picking names, it continues to bond me closer to him and our families.  Also, his nightly foot rubs aren't bad either!

The best part of being a mom is the pride that I feel every day. I see my son hitting milestones like his first smile, laugh, rolling over, etc and it just makes me so happy to know that my husband and I created this little being that completes our world.

the best part of being pregnant was the attention I got!  It may not be the best answer, but it's honest!  Hubby was so attentive and protective over me and 'the belly'.  People were never rude to me (unlike some horror stories I've heard) and often smiled at me or helped me with little things.  It was nice to talk to the strangers about the pregnancy.

It has to be the entire experience of growing a child inside of you, then helping them come into the world and watching them flourish. Especially for first time moms, the uncertainty of each day with your baby is very special and makes you anticipate everyday even more!

From the moment I felt my little boy kicking I knew that I would never be the same.  The feeling I get when I look at him is overwhelming at times.  It is just an amazing feeling.  He is now 6 and I still feel this way.  Hearing him tell me I'm the best mommy in the world is the best.

At just over 4 weeks of mommyhood, I think the best thing so far is seeing the gas-related smiles from my darling baby boy, just before he toots really loud!  :)

The next best thing has been celebrating my baby with family and friends over home-cooked meals - this prize would certainly be a gift for my husband and me.  :)

In my opinion, the part of my pregnancy is how amazing I feel emotionally.  I guess it's the hormones, but hey, they are more than welcome cause I feel awesome all the time.  I have alot of energy, but I've had to tell myself to be careful to not over-do it.  Ok, I'll tell you the second thing is connecting to baby girl by feeling her move inside me AND listening to her heartbeat through my stethoscope.  I could listen for hours!

I have a 2 year old and I am expecting Baby No. 2.  The best part of being pregnant is being able to eat without worrying about your diet.  The best part of being a mom is seeing my son's face light up when he sees me walk through the door after a day of work and hearing him say "Mommy!" as he runs to me with arms wide open for a big hug.  It is the best feeling in the world.

The best part of being pregnant was the anticipation.  I loved that I didn't know when it would be over and I could meet my baby girl.  I loved the feeling of impatience I had towards the end.  I felt like I had when I was a child waiting for Christmas to come.

The best part of being a mommy, aside from the smiles and the laughs is how much closer my husband and I have become.  She has opened up new dialogues between us.  Every night after we put her to bed we sit and talk about memories we have from childhood.  She is bringing out memories we had long forgotten about and sharing them with one another.   I have fallen in love with my little girl, but also with my husband all over again and in new ways.

Where do I possibly begin... I have never loved anything more in my life!   Being a mom is the most wonderfully exhausting title I have had the pleasure of holding.  

Currently, the best thing is when my son (15 months) wakes up in the morning, I pick him up out of his crib, and start singing him our morning song, "You are My Sunshine", he puts his head on my shoulder, squeezes me tight and when I am finished singing he claps for me.  He is the only person in the WORLD that loves my singing!

I went away for business for five days, while my husband stayed behind with our 18 month old son.  The best part of mommyhood so far was going to get my son the morning after I got home, late the night before.  He cocked his head to the side and looked at me with a wrinkled brow, and said, "Mommy?"  Then he grinned a big grin, threw his arms wide to me, and shouted, "MOMMY!!"  No one has ever been so happy to see me!

The best part of pregancy was just knowing a little baby was inside me and feeling her (except when she was jabbing me in the ribs!).  Motherhood is those times when the day at work was horrible and you pick your child from daycare and she crawls up to you and gives you a hug. It melts my heart and makes the bad day go away :-).

It is so great to see him getting involved in the appointments, registries, and all the little things he would normally leave to me because he wants everything to be perfect for his first baby. The best part of pregnancy is knowing that your baby is truly a miracle. We had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks. Our second ultrasound was at 20 weeks. Just the changes in that time frame were truly amazing. It is hard to imagine that even though the baby is still so small, he already looks human. I think I am still in awe of seeing the baby at the 20 week ultrasound.

The best part of pregnancy was just seeing how nice people could be.  Random strangers were always offering to help when they saw me.  Or they would just ask how I was doing.  And then my family was so great too.  When I went to visit my parents, my extended family was so thoughtful and were continuously asking how they could help.  I had aunts cooking for me the entire time I was with my parents.

The best part of being a mom is watching my son grow and learn about the world around him.  Every time he sees something new he gets so excited, and I get excited just watching him, like I'm seeing that thing for the first time too.

For Me the best thing about pregnancy was the anticipation of each new inutero milestone!  I would read my month by month book and wait anxiously to see if and when that would happen to me.  I loved feeling the baby inside of me and I loved that this was something that only I could experience (I know a little selfish)

The best thing about Motherhood has been absolutely everything!  I have always wanted to be a Mommy and my wish has come true 3 times over.  Even when I'm feeling run down and like I can't go anymore,  I know I wouldn't want it any other way.

I think that the best part of my pregnancy was feeling the different stages of the little miracle growing inside me and going through that initial in-utero bonding stage.  Before my pregnancy, I had no idea I was capable of such a great love!  Now that I have my little munchkin, I think that the best part of bing Emily's mommmy is getting to watch her continually grow and evolve and enjoying her quirky personality, knowing that my husband and I created such a wonderful little girl.  Emily has truly completed my life and made me realize just how lucky and blessed I am - she continues to suprise me every single day!

I love pregnancy!

I would stay pregnant forever!  I haven't experienced any of the awful side effects some people have and I love the extra attention I get from my ever expanding belly.  I feel very special, protective and sacred knowing that I am growing a baby inside of me!  It's so wonderful and it's such a shame that no one really even could tell until my 6th month so I couldn't really show it off.  This is my first so I'm sure I'll be just as happy and proud when my baby arrives!

So far, the changes and pain associated with the first trimester of pregnancy have been pretty hard for me. However, knowing that the end result is an amazing little baby is the best part of pregnancy.

Motherhood is a series of wonderful events!  One of my favorite parts is when, out of nowhere, one of the kids comes up and gives me a hug and says s/he loves me.  Talk about warm fuzzies!

The best part of pregnancy is when you feel those first movements and kicks and start asking yourself how it is possible that you can love and value somebody more than you value your own life and you haven't even met them yet.

The best part of being a mother is making your children smile and just watching them grow, it is amazing to think about how in 2 years my 1 year old will be doing what my 3 year old is doing now.

Being a Mom.  My daughter is amazing and its a privilege to see her grow and change everyday!  Its also been great to see the changes in my husband.  His face glows with pride seeing his daughter.  I revel in their relationship!

I think for the me the best moments came during the first year of my son's life.  Looking at that tiny wonder with all his mannerisms and personality that clearly mirrored my husband and my self.  It was as if we had been given the chance to contribute the best of ourselves into the making of this chiild who could someday grow up and change the world.  I felt awe at the perfection of every tiny finger, dimpled cheek or twist of hair.  I also felt the immense responsibility of knowing that what I taught him would shape his view of the world and prove to be a stepping stone to success or a stumbling block to failure.  I thanked God for recognizing in me the ability to love and protect such a delicate creature...as I have done every chance I get since the day he was born.

Watching my belly move and feeling the kicks while still being able to do much of what I could do BEFORE I was pregnant! And the topper to all of this is watching my husband smile from ear to ear when he feels the baby kicking.

The best part of being a mother is looking at your child and realizing that he (or she) was created out of the  love you have for your husband.  I stop and think about it and start to cry with the joy in my heart for my son and my husband, I love them more and more each day.

I love feeling the baby move!!  I am not digging being sore all the time, but I love everything else.  Everyone thinks I look cute even if I'm having a bad day.  And I don't have to worry about sucking my stomach in all the time!  Not to mention the best part, having a baby at the end and starting my family!  I am so excited and so looking forward to how my husband and I will grow and mature.

The best thing about pregnancy was feeling the little kicks from inside. It was at those moments that I knew I was really carrying my baby and felt so close to him, because the first half felt very surreal even though I saw the ultrasounds and everything!

But I'd have to say the best thing about motherhood, so far, is the adorable smiles I get every morning when my little when wakes up and I greet him at his crib. He's always so happy to see me and it just melts my heart!

The best part of pregnancy (# 3 for me) is the Beautiful Gift of being Blessed to have been chosen to bring a precious life into this world. To feel the development of another human being growing inside of you. To experience how your body willingly adjust to provide comfort, nutrients and protection to this delicate life growing inside of you. To physically feel the developments take place such as; flutters and kicking. And to experience how you mentally and emotionally begin to change and prepare to become the protector and nurturer of this tiny person you can't wait to meet!

Motherhood (12 yr old and 2 yr old) I am reminded everyday what I live for! To see my beautiful girl grow into a little lady smiling all the time because she has a happy life which I've provided. Reminding me of the girl I once was (good habits and bad) and reminding me of the wonderful woman I turned out to be. She is my daughter and my little companion, seeing how she has become a lovely person to sit and talk with. How I have spent many years making sure she's been taught well and now seeing the outcome; her mannerisms, her caring gestures, her open willingness to share and help others. The sight of her and the sound of her voice brings tears to my eyes. The feeling of my heart beating fast everyday waiting for that 2:05, 06, uh-oh 2:10 call to say she's out of school and making it home safely. At the same time if I have a pain or I'm sad she is the first one by my side worried if Mommy's okay. I am proud she is my baby and I look forward to seeing the young lady she will become.

How fun is it to have a 23 month old in the house? Being a Mother of this adorable gem who hangs on to every word...to repeat it of course. I see his mind develop everyday. The way he looks at me with those eyes, hungary for knowledge and completely focused on me. I see his father, I see me, I see this little man who knows what he wants and how to get it. I see this person running after his big sister to be a part of her world. I love when he puts his little feet on me just to feel I'm there, and when he iniciates a hug and a kiss because he knows your the "MOM" person. I love how he'll do something he's not supposed to and then look at me and scold himself with my words, "don't touch that it's danger!" I love how he trusts me and loves me unconditionally and if he hurts himself all I have to do is kiss his boo-boo and it's better. I love how when I'm walking out the door he wants to go with Mommy, yet when he knows I'll be back he says "bye Mommy, have a good day I love you" and goes right back to his own agenda of playing monster trucks or watching Mickey Mouse.

I love the gift of being able to bring children into the world and showing them a life of happiness, teaching them how to survive and watching the adults they become, knowing I am responsible for that and I will do everything to make sure it's right!
