"Andrew has it all planned, from the baby's name to what kind of exciting job 'he' will have when 'he' grows up..."
Andrew and I have been together for a little over four years. Although we had several mutual friends in law school, we didn't really get to know each other until the summer after our first year. On our first date, Andrew made me a delicious dinner and followed it up with miniature golf and a roller coaster ride! It wasn't long before we realized that we had something that was going to last a lifetime. Two years later, we made it through law school, passed the bar exam, and Andrew proposed. It was at that point that I knew I was the luckiest girl in the world! I was going to marry my best friend, my rock.
We got married in October 2007 and a few months later I got the baby bug. It took a little while longer to convince Andrew, but now he's on board "full throttle." We decided we would start TTC in July. Well... we couldn't wait that long! We started TTC in June, on our business trip to Taipei, Taiwan.
We often spend hours dreaming about our future as parents. Andrew has it all planned, from the baby's name to what kind of exciting job "he" will have when "he" grows up. I find it adorable that Andrew won't let me share our baby names with anyone else.
The worst part about TTC is the waiting game. I know it's only been two months, but I'm an impatient girl! Andrew, on the other hand, thinks the worst part about TTC is the incessant beeping of my thermometer in the mornings.
All in all, we can't wait until the day we hold our baby in our arms for the first time and know that all of our dreams have come true.
