Re: Where do you change your lo?

On the floor. We always have though, we never had a changing table.

On our bed; we have never used a changing table! After I make our bed for the day I lay out a quilt and set up my diaper station! It just dawned on me that will be one more thing I will miss seeing or setting up when we start potty training.

Wherever. Floor, couch, chair, windowsill, counter, bed. Wherever I am and I don't really worry about it. Her changing table is in her room upstairs, she gets a diaper changed upstairs maybe once or twice a week.

This.... Although for some reason it grosses my mother out... She always comes behind me with Lysol or something lol

I change and dress him on the changing table in his room. SO has a harder time of it. I am a quick changer so it is easy for me.

She can still fit on the changing pad on her dresser. But when I was a daycare teacher, I used to change the toddlers standing up. It's a skill I think every parent should know. So much easier!

i would love to learn how to do this.  The one time I tried this dd peed on the floor. I was way too slow.

. I wish I could change my son laying down!! We've been changing him standing up since about 7 months. Even got rid of the changing pad.

When we're at home, changing table every time. He's so much more cooperative.

She either gets changed on the couch or on the bed. I don't do the floor since we have hardwood and she will just kick me and slide away.

It's easier on my back and knees to change her on her changing table so I use it for every diaper change. If I do it on the couch or the bed it kills my back for some reason. Please she is easier to control on the changing table!

I've been changing DS on the floor (on a blanket) since 6 months.  He is a roller and a squirmer.  We had too many close calls.
