Could you explain the monthly bleaching of your BGs to me?  I am going to be prepping mine over the next few weeks. Like you, I am trying to follow the instructions to the most minute detail.

Once a month, they recommend adding a 1/4 cup bleach to a regular wash cycle.  I think it's 1/2 that for a FL, but I'm going to call and confirm.

This is an ignorant question, and I realize it sounds super stupid.....

that's just for inserts right??  Or is that color safe bleach for covers too?  And is FL a full load?

Again, sorry for the ignorance.  I feel like it's an easy process but I'm just afraid to mess up.

I did the exact same thing on the phone Smile  They said to toss everything in there, covers and inserts.  I did it twice when I was trying to save the repelling diapers and didn't have any trouble with the color fading.

Sorry, FL = front loader.

And no worries - after the first round of BGs, I'm super paranoid about this set!
