Anyone else still cosleeping?

I'm trying really hard to move my 2 1/2 year old daughter to her own bed! I've been cosleeping since day one and she's been really hard to sleep with lately. She's been sleeping sideway in our king size bed. I need pointers, CIO isn't working I let her cry for 45 minutes today and no luck. I finally couldn't take it anymore and went in got her out of the pnp and laid on the bed with her and she fell asleep within 2 minutes. At our house she has her own room which she seems scared to death of. Shell play in there but won't lay down in her bed crib turned toddler bed. Help please!!!!

We never co-slept but consistency has been key for everything with us.  You just need to be firm and consistent.

IMO, Instead of jumping to solely CIO do a gradual CIO.  Leave her for 5m, then go in and console.  Repeat at 10m (start the time over, 10m from the time you left the room), then 15m, 20m, etc. and you shouldn't need to go past 60m.  If you do, I'd just try again the next night.

Eventually the CIO should shorten every night.
