Do you post anywhere else?

I noticed a couple dads on the Nest Money Matters board.  I was thinking if we could get an idea of what people are interested in talking about we might be able to put a little more life in this board.  There may be like minded folks here, but it just hasn't come up.

I post occasionally in the Money Matters and Technology boards on the Nest.  I lurk the landscape and renovation boards, but haven't joined the conversation yet.  I would post in the sports one but it is basically dead.  I don't post anywhere else on the Bump.

Anyone else want to share where they post or maybe just what you'd like to talk about here?

I lurk on my son's and my new son's birth month boards, and on my local board to see if anything is coming up locally that I'm not aware of.  Beyond that, I'm pretty much here.

I post on the Politics board on the Nest, although that has gotten a lot less interesting post-election. I also am pretty regular on the Parenting board, which has a somewhat deceptive title. It should be renamed Snarky Parents.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules. -This might be the one place on the internet where it's feasible someone would pretend to be an Adult Man.

I just discovered the money board yesterday so you probably saw me there. I posted in 4-5 threads I think.

I don't wander too far from the Dad board though. I've lurked the stay-at-home mom board a few times because my wife stays at home. I didn't get very interested in it though. Same thing with the parenting board. I went to the TTC board once to see what the hype was about and there is no exaggeration to the stuff that goes on over there.

I also frequent an actuarial forum and they have about everything you can imagine and a large group of posters. If I'm looking for anything specific not related to parenting I'm usually over there lurking.

This is why I generally don't post anywhere else on the bump.  Male presence generally is not taken kindly.

I am now posting on the June 2011 board and the July 2013.  I have checked out the money matters board also.  I tend to answer more to posts then to ask questions or post myself.

I post and comment on a few places within thebump. Mainly all of the ones that apply to us, 0-3 months, September 2012, C-section, etc. I use to read and post in the Baby Showers when my wife was preparing for her shower(s) and those women are bitter and angry towards one another....not sure why, but man they have a lot of hate towards one another.

I've never been to thenest, but I own my own home and I'm constantly doing renovations, etc so that would be a cool place to visit.

I'm open to any additional discussions. Money, Home, Children, etc. would all be cool.

That makes me so sad! I'd love to see more dads-to-be on the July 2013 board (only because I'm there and I'm selfish). It's great to have a dad's perspective on what's going on too. I hope no one there ever makes you feel unwelcome.
