how long?

For those with experience, how long after you started taking meds for your PPD did you start feeling better? I started Zoloft today and I'm feeling desperate for some relief. My OB said 1-3 weeks, but I'm curious what y'all have experienced.

My meds are getting changed since I havent been able to find one that really worked for me. Right now I am on abilify, klopin, and wellbutrin. I'm 5 months post partum but just started the wellbutrin I have started a feeling a little different here and there with the wellbutrin

I felt pretty good about 1.5 weeks in with small improvements from there.  Then it kind of dropped off, she adjusted my dose, and I got to feeling better again.

I'm on Zoloft (100mg) & it took about 2 weeks for it to kick in.  My Dr. said I should notice a dramatic difference by 6 weeks & she was right.  I was prescribed Xanax for anxiety until the Zoloft had time to kick in.  You may want to ask your OB for a prescription of Xanax.  GL
