Of course not. They just called like two days ago to tell me that our formal appeal was denied... which occured after denying it in general, denying it after a peer-to-peer review with our pedi, and then the formal appeal denial, which ignored a letter of medical necessity from our pedi.
God knows my baby who gets a wheezing cough from every bug doesn't need an RSV vaccine.
Don't even get me started. If she ends up getting RSV, someone is going to have to hold me back from personally killing everyone involved in the denials (and the office is local).
I just faxed in the appeal to my company. It's our last chance.
