What movie do you automatically put down the remote for?

Today I had a ton of things to get accomplished around the house, so was flipping channels to get to SportsCenter for some background noise and came across The Searchers on TCM.  I stopped flipping and was immediately tuned in.  I watched for nearly an hour before I finally snapped out of it and rushed to finish everything.

 

What movie does this to you?

I've got a bunch of movies that do that for me.  The one that probably rings most true is The Shawshank Redemption.  No matter where the movie is in its progress, I can't pass it up.

This happens to me often, but I usually just hit the record button on the DVR or look up when it's airing next and step the DVR to record. My son won't let me sit down if he wants to play..be rocked..dance..eat..or anything else.
