Maternity Jeans

Im used to wearing 7 jeans because I love how they stretch over my curvy thighs. Has anyone found maternity jeans with a fair amount of stretch in them. I have the ones from motherhood and they are so stiff! I really hate to buy jeans that are 240 just for the next four months. Thanks!

The gap maternity jeans are wonderful and stretchy.  You can get them onsale sometimes for $30.  They wash well and hold up well.  Buy a size smaller than you are - as they do stretch past the normal stretch and a size up prevents that from happening.  :)

A friend of mine splurged and got True Religion maternity jeans - after the baby she sold them on ebay for almost as much as she paid for them.

I couldn't stand to spend that much on maternity jeans so I got a couple pair at Gap.  I love them and I am curviest in my hips and thighs too.  They are pretty stretchy.  The Baby Gap near my house has a maternity section so I was able to go try them on rather than just order online.

I've been wearing a couple of pairs from Old Navy and I really like them. Plenty of stretch, comfy while still being flattering, and affordable.

I snagged some very cute skinny jeans from H&M that have a lot of give, especially on a round two wear.

Add me to the Old Navy bandwagon! I have two pairs in a size 6 (I'm normally between a 6 and 8 depending on fit... if you're a 7, I recommend going to a size 6). They have a good amount of stretch and are comfy in the hips and thighs where I'm most curvy. I bought a pair of bootcut dark wash and a pair of skinny jeans.

ON is also having an online sale today - 15% with code ONGIFT. I'm not sure if applies to jeans, so you may want to double check.

Another vote for The Gap!  Sexy Boot was the style I bought.  I love them, and have to force myself not to wear them everyday.

I really like A Pea in the Pod jeans.  If you can get them on sale/clearance, they aren't too bad ($60-70).

I've gotten two different brands of jeans from destination maternity. I hate both of them (one is a medium and one is a large). I find I pull them up the whole time and I loathe wearing them so I just live in leggings. Are the sized jeans suppose to be better fitting? It's super frustrating.

All of this! I have a few pairs of maternity jeans, and Gap is my favorite pair. I think I like that they still size them by your regular pants size, whereas other maternity stores size pants SXL, so I feel like the fit is more specific. I definitely agree with getting a size smaller, I'm glad I did! I also just ordered a pair of Old Navy jeans on sale, same size as my Gap jeans, so we'll see how those fit!

I like Ann Taylor Loft jeans, just bought different three pairs.   The skinny Ponte pants are super comfortable.  Not sure if those are technically jeans or not but I have been wearing them a lot bc they are so nice.

me too.  I have yet to find Old Navy maternity pants that look good on me.

If you have a specialty maternity store in your area, they will take 7 jeans and cut the top off to sew in the stretchy top.  May be hard to find unless you live near a big city though.
