prenatal workout dvds?

I realize this would probably be better posted on the health & exercise board, but frankly, anytime I post elsewhere I quickly regret it.  So I turn to you ladies once again!

Has anyone found one that they love?  PreBFP I have always been a moderately active person - love hiking, run a few 5K races a year, etc.  The 1st tri left me on the couch.  Now I walk the dogs, but not daily, and it's not enough.  I need to step it up.  I plan on taking prenatal yoga once a week and x-country skiing once we have some snow, but I need lots of options to avoid boredom and laziness!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  TIA!

I have the Gabby Reece prenatal one. I got it when pregnant with DD because it was weights and more like 30DS than anything else I saw. I have been using machines at the Y so I haven't used it this time, but I recommend it as a good alternative to the yoga and Pilates that you mostly find.

I purchased a pretty awesome prenatal pilates DVD from Amazon. The workouts are only 10 mins. which is great for my busy schedule, but you can combine them for a longer workout if you like. I usually do 2 workouts and add the flexibility one at the end for a decent stretch at the end. It's called 10 Min Solution Prenatal Pilates.

Check it out. Let me know what you think.

I like the Moms Into Fitness prenatal DVDs with Lindsay Brin. Her workouts use weights and she also has yoga for each trimester on her DVDs. Then she has a postnatal DVD series that is good for after baby.

I bought the "You Having a Baby" workout DVD on Amazon - it's four separate workouts (one for each trimester, then one for after you have the baby). It's fairly short - about a half hour for the second trimester workout, but it's decent. I feel like I'm getting a good workout (lots of arms, a bit of light cardio, some yoga-type moves). I recommend it.

I am still going to kickboxing, body sculpt classes and prenatal yoga but I did get the Shiva Rea prenatal yoga DVD and The Perfect Pregnancy Workout Volume 1 DVD by Karyne Steben to do when I can't make it to the gym. I really like them both. The Perfect Pregnancy video shows moderate and high intensity so you can modify as needed for each Tri and for your own exercise level.

I got this one too and I used it for the first time lat week and it kicked my butt pretty good! Even my husband was impressed and wants to try it with me the next time I do it.

I've been doing prenatal yoga at a nearby rec center too and that's been great.

I stopped at the library and just borrowed two prenatal workout DVDs.  I admit, I haven't tried them yet, but I figured it would save some money.  If I like them, I can renew them, and if not, I might have a better idea of what to look for if I still want to go with an exercise DVD.

I plan on starting a prenatal yoga class this week in person, because even as an active person, I know I'm not always motivated to work out on my own.

Not a prenatal one, but later, after the baby's born, I love "Dance, Baby, Dance"
http://www.amazon.com/Infantastic-DANCE-BABY-DANCE-Cardio-Postnatal-Workout/dp/B000A2X5F0

It's made for you to do while holding/carrying your baby.  Both my little ones loved all the motion and it was a good way to ease back into exercising after my c-sections.  There's a companion video, I think maybe called Baby Reps that has you do weight exercises with your baby as the weight.

I purchased three before I got pregnant.  They all seemed ridiculously easy when I tried them out pre-pregnancy, but now that I am pregnant, they seem to be at an appropriately challenging level (I was very active beforehand).

1. Prenatal Fitness Fix by Erin O'Brien - this is a 2 DVD set (prenatal and postnatal).  The exercised don't require any "equipment" other than your living room/dining room furniture (couch, coffee table, firm chair) and a towel or mat for the floor. Erin is very down to earth and encouraging. The workout is 45 min and I like it a lot. I would say this workout is pretty low-impact while still being up-tempo.

2. Lindsay Brin's Complete Pregnancy 4-DVD Workout Set: Cardio, Toning PLUS Yoga - This set has a separate DVD for each trimester plus a postnatal bootcamp DVD.  While I like the exercises in this program, and the fact that the workout changes for each trimester, I find Lindsay a little fake/annoying, but it's not so bad that it keeping me from doing the workouts. Maybe she's just too cheery/peppy for me. There are toninig, cardio, and yoga sections on each disk so you can choose to do some/all of them as you want.  Doing everything at one time take just under an hour. You will need hand-held weights and a mat for the floor.

3. Suzanne Bowen's Long and Lean Prenatal Workout - This DVD is about 50 minutes long and is very fluid/low-impact.  You just need a mat for the floor.  This workout definitely tones the muscles and helps you get a good stretch, but doesn't have the cardio aspect that the other two have.  Still a really good workout, and I enjoy it. The music is very soothing and Suzanne's voice is very calm and relaxing.

I've continuted to do my Pure Barre workouts throughout my pregnancy, and I'm still loving it. I go to a local studio but they are just releasing prenatal DVDs:
