I have been looking at the Select and the Britax B-Agile double which is very similar to the City Mini double but has an easier to access basket and is way less expensive. We currently have the B-Agile single and I love it. Plus, the Britax infant carseat snaps in place without any kind of frame which I love.
I thought I wanted the Select, but after trying it out in the store, I realized I didn't really like it as much as I thought I would. While DD looked comfy in the front seat, I didn't like that I could not see her AT ALL when I was pushing it. Not even her feet or the top of her head. It didn't seem hard to maneuver, but DD is only 25 pounds now. Also, I hated how it folded. To get it to fit in my car I had to take it apart. I just can't see myself standing alone in the middle of a parking lot trying to take it apart or put it back together. The basket, however, is fabulous. I will have major basket envy every time I see one.
The Britax double and the City Mini double are just so easy to fold and steer like a dream. I took them both into the bathroom at BBB to make sure the width wouldn't be a problem and it wasn't. My only concern is shopping at tight clothing stores. Gymboree may not be in my future
