Early movements feel like jabs?

I am 15wks, 4 days (but baby has been measuring a week ahead) and a FTM.  I am sitting at work and just felt what I would describe as quick little jabs sporadically for 1-2 minutes in one area.  Last week I was having a lot of RLP and some cramping due to growing/stretching and this was higher than any of that and definitely felt different.  Would any of you describe early movements as feeling like that, or am I most likely just feeling a variation of the growing/streching I had been feeling?

Yes, I feel like I get little pokes or bumps that sound like what you describe and I am sure it is baby moving.

I have been getting what feels like something tickling me from the inside. It doesn't last too long and it doesn't even happen every day yet.  Can't wait until I feel more movement.

With DD it want until my 18 week ultrasound, that I realized those weird poking pains were a baby poking me. Definitely didn't feel like bubbles or flutters.

This time I got the super cool popcorn popping sensation. Like my uterus was a pinball machine.

I haven't felt much. About a week or two ago I felt what I would describe as a twitch or "ping" in my lower abdomen. I was almost certain this was baby but I haven't felt it in probably a week so I kind of doubt it at this point. Though last night I got awake through the night to pee and while trying to fall back asleep I was laying slightly on my back and I think I felt a swooshing feeling. I could only describe it as what it might feel like when baby twirls around or repositions. Like a little flutter kinda!

I'm anxious to be able to feel baby on a regular basis. It's somewhat scary going 4 weeks without listening to baby's heart beat. I want that constant reassurance that everything is okay in there! This is why I would never be able to own a doppler though. That thing would be attached to my stomach and the second I had trouble finding activity I would most likely go crazy.

Is this your first baby?

This is my 3rd and with the 1st 2 I felt the "butterfly flutters" you always hear about. This time, jabs! And very early. I thought I was just trippin' until I went for my 12 week appt and saw baby bucking like a bull. LOL! And there it was. That's what I'd been feeling. Now the feelings are just intensifying. I told my Dr. I knew I had been feeling the baby. She laughed and said, "Yep, it it possible since it's not your "first time at the rodeo"." LOL!

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I think I have been feeling baby for at least the past week. I've ruled out the gas concept because when I have gotten gas so far this pregnancy it is in the same spot on the left side of my stomach and this feels like flutters or spasms but it has been in the same place each time. It isn't every day but i've felt it enough to say I'm pretty sure its baby. I always feel it right down below my belly button sometimes higher, sometimes lower. So I would say your feeling baby!!!

RLP hurts, like a b*tch! But those pokes haven't hurt me (yet)...they just feel like someone poked me with their finger from the inside! Weird and awesome!
