HAHA! I LOVE the pinata pic! Thanks, ladies for thinking of me. :)
So the colonoscopy itself went well, prep sucked of course. But the bad news is that they found FOUR MORE F-ING POLYPS! This is just 1.5 years after my last colonoscopy where they found one. I'm only 31! Holy crap. So even though my doctor originally had recommended that I come in every three years, it's now clear this is something I will have to do yearly for the rest of my life to prevent myself from getting colon cancer. Surprisingly, I'm not as freaked out as I thought I would be. Probably because I feel like I have a solid plan to keep it at bay (as crappy as the prospect of doing a colonoscopy yearly is) at least it will keep me safe.
And on a much happier note, our donor V signed the notarized consent to donate us her embryos today and the IVF lab in Virginia just called me a couple of minutes ago to tell me they are officially ours! THEY ARE OURS!!!!!!! *jumps up and down on the chair*
We officially have five snowbabies!! AHHHH! I can't even believe it! They are working on getting them shipped to San Antonio next week. Unbelievable. What a way to start the weekend. Four polyps and five embryos. ;-)
