Congrats!!  I remember feeling the same way because before I had my LO, I was always scared of newborns, they seemed so fragile!  Someone told me that alot of it is instinctual, and that has definitely been the case with me.  It did ease my worries to take all of the baby classes that my hospital offered - prenatal classes, happiest baby on the block, etc.  I think a pea in the pod on veterans also has free classes.  Good luck to you!!  It is such an exciting time!

Congrats! I was very careful with my baby at first too. I didn't baby sit or have any younger siblings so it was very new to me too. I would definitely take the classes at the hospital like the previous post said. I just think the more information you can get the better you will feel knowing as much as you can. I also got the book "What to expect when your expecting" It gives alot of useful information and goes week by week so you know exactly what to expect at the time.

Everyones pregnancy is different so don't get freaked out about others stories and everyone will give you advice and it will get aggrivating. Just let it go in one ear and out the other.

 

Oh and if someone touches your stomach and you feel uncomfortable just touch their stomache and ask them when they are due! LOL

Oh and BTW I'm due July 11th too!
