Beans/legumes

Ok, so I made the mistake of having edemame on Saturday (somehow, I didn't think of soybean=edemame until about halfway through-idiot!)

Anywyas, Joshua has nasty poops and is breaking out from it, but then my husband asked if green peas might cause some of the issue, since he just started them at daycare. Has anyone seen a reaction to peas if you have had the soy issue?

I didn't know that either until after i ate them when i was nursing DS1.

Legumes are also in the same family as peanuts. So if your LO has a peanut issue, there is a chance he may be allergic to some or all legumes.  Crazy -i know!

But it sounds like it's the soybean that's causing the issue.  But a legumes allergy is pretty common..

btw -love your siggy pic! too cute

Yes, my lo reacted to peas with nasty diarrhea. Its too bad, bc it has been her favorite food so far.GI says peas are the most likely to cause issue in MSPI babies out of all the jar foods, and they are in the peanut family.
