Crazy boss update

So my crazy boss told me today she is not pg from her hot affair. She said she spent the whole weekend on the couch crying, and that she is devastated that she got her AF. I was right that she only thinks of herself, telling me how devastated she is after I have had a string of BFNs and an M/C. I'm just going to ignore her from here on out.

Tomorrow I go in for an HSG. Why did I not get this before, you may be thinking? Since I had a BFP they thought all was well but now they want to check. I'm not looking forward to it. I'm on Femara this cycle instead of Clomid. That stuff made me as cray cray as my boss lady...

First u/s at 6w4d showed hb of 119, second u/s at 9w1d showed baby waving arms and hb of 172

Your boss is a nutterbeans! Glad you will be off clomid.... So crazy making. I was freaked about the hsg, but it was super easy. Good luck!
Iui #1 = unmedicated = bfn. Iui # 2 = clomid 50 mg = bfn. Iui # 3 = clomid 50 mg = bfn. Iui # 4 = unmedicated = bfn. Iui # 5 = unmedicated = bfp - miscarriage at 5 wks. Iui #6 = nov 2012 = gonal f 75, endotrim 100= chemical pregnancy/bfn

We're having our HSG tomorrow too (BOTH of us, because we're really not sure how this fertility thing will play out for either of us).....

 Good luck!   Fingers crossed that your tubes are clear, and it goes super easy...  I'm not looking forward to ours either - We were given Ponstan (to prevent cramping) from our clinic, + I'm going to take an ativan before to relax me a little, I hate having people mess around with my cervix.

 I'm sorry your boss is a super mess -- that sounds both totally inappropriate in terms of laying her emotional crap on you as well as completely insensitive!

Same sex couple - 31 years old - donor sperm, carrying our first due to dx of DOR/POF in Nov. 2012.

Low AMH, AFC - 6, Normal FSH, SS-A (RO) Antibodies (Autoimmune issues), tubes clear

IUI# 1 - December 19 - Done too early (24-36hrs before Ovulation) - BFN

IUI# 2 - January 16 - Femara + HCG trigger - BFN

IUI# 3 - March - 150-225iui Puregon, stimmed 16 days with only 1 follicle - nearly missed surge so no trigger - Progesterone - BFN.

IUI # 4 - "Pokey-Pokey" April 9 - 100mg Clomid CD 3-7, HCG Trigger + Progesterone - 2 follicles! IUI done after one O'd and before the 2nd one did. - BFN

...Moving on to trying to get my Partner pregnant with donor sperm. Hoping to come back and try with me, or do IVF with my DP's eggs eventually. My nerves are too frazzled for now

Wow.  I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to use your boss as a reminder to myself that I should be grateful (and I am, just even more so) that I am in a stable and loving relationship with another adult, and that we are actually prepared and ready to birth and raise a child together.  No matter how out of control things might feel at any given moment.  Stick out tongue

Good luck on your HSG.  Mine was really a breeze.  I think I had one moment where I thought "Wow, this could get really uncomfortable, and I'm not sure how much longer my poker face can hold out."  But that was also the exact moment when it was done.  And, FWIW, I got my BFP on the next cycle.

Amen to all of that! I am also super grateful that I have an awesome partner in this, that I am going about it deliberately and not hoping for a random hookup to get KU. 

Thanks for the encouragement on HSG. I want my wife in the room but I don't know if it is possible. I hope to get a BFP on the next cycle! Thanks!

I know that when our friends had their hsg here in Toronto the partner was allowed in the room. We are certainly counting on that for our two hsgs tomorrow and I hope you get to have your wife in yours.
-32 -queer -partnered with Manada
we each want to carry (at different times)

Manada was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve and we did 4 IUIs with Manada between Dec and Apr

1st IUI December 19, unmedicated, BFN

2nd IUI January 16 with Femara and trigger, one follicle: BFN

3rd IUI March 13 with Puregon (follistim) at 225 per day; two follicles but second was small: BFN

4th IUI planned for mid April. 100mg Clomid cycle days 3-8; two follicles: BFN

starting with me now

we knew about a blocked left fallopian tubes and found out in May about ovarian cysts, and fluid in my left tube (hydrosalpinx)

planning for a repeat HSG and then possibly/probably laparoscopic surgery to remove the left tube

may try more IUIs with Manada while we sort out my tubes or may just be on hold for the summer

Wife was in the room and it went well! Tubes open!

In other good news, the tech told us her sister is 4 months Pg after she had hsg. She and her partner used the same bank we did. I'm hoping all this is a good sign.

I'm crampy though an don't want to go back to work. Time to write boss an email to let her know I'm working from home.
