What do you celebrate? A very secular Christmas!

What's your favorite childhood memory? Opening stockings with my brother while my parents slept in after Christmas Eve parties/marathon gift wrapping and playing closer and closer to their door as the morning went on. Wink

What are you most looking forward to this year? Christmas morning, just the 3 of us before we head to the in-laws for lunch. I'm actually more excited to see DH open his gift. DD will be happy with the bags, I know.  

What are you most looking forward to in future years? I absolutely cannot wait until DD is old enough to take ice skating. Outdoor ice skating in Florida is a wonderfully weird thing that only happens once a year!

What do you celebrate?

Christmas, not quite secular, but not as religious as I grew up with.

What's your favorite childhood memory?

Non-holiday - sitting next to my dad in his bench seat pick up riding through town for errands and him singing "you are my sunshine" to me. I'm getting teary eyed just typing it. 

Holiday - the smell of cinnamon raisin bread at my Granpa's house the morning after Christmas.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Celebrating DS's first Christmas, and my newest nephew's first christmas too, (he's a week old tomorrow!)

What are you most looking forward to in future years?

Making holiday memories with my boys, decorating the tree, making christmas cookies  - SS is a blossoming chef, he is becoming the BEST kitchen helper!

What do you celebrate? Mostly Christmas, but we observe Yule on Dec 21.

What's your favorite childhood memory?  Of Christmas?  It would have to be going to my grandparents' house later in the day and opening more presents with cousins

What are you most looking forward to this year?  Seeing DS rip into his presents and choose if he likes the gifts or the paper more.

What are you most looking forward to in future years?  Seeing DS react to the whole Christmas season and seeing what's special to him.

What do you celebrate? Christmas with the birth of Jesus :)

What's your favorite childhood memory? shaking and feeling the presents under the tree for the days (weeks) before Christmas Eve and putting them back under.  Wondering what each present contains!

What are you most looking forward to this year? Watching both my kids open their presents from Santa.

What are you most looking forward to in future years? Seeing my kids grow to love Christmas as much as I do.

What's your favorite childhood memory? opening one gift Christmas Eve and then my Mom would have one last small present at the dining room table at Christmas dinner

What are you most looking forward to this year?  watching baby K unwrap his presents

What are you most looking forward to in future years?  putting up a Christmas tree and taking him to see Christmas lights around town...he's just too young this year
