Ideas for a gift for $50

If someone sent you $50 to use toward a gift for your LO for Christmas, what would you spend it on?

My dad isn't a shopper and he's mailing me $50 to go pick out a gift from him for DD and I'm not really sure what else to get her. We bought her a play kitchen, some pots, and pretend fruits and veggies for it so that's all taken care of. I'm not sure what to pick out as a gift from my dad that's in that price range.

What about those low pedal bikes? Or special books? Or baby dolls and mini stroller for baby doll? i suppose those are the things my LO is into besides her kitchen!

I'm in the same boat.  No one asked me what to get so I got a bunch of stuff like you did and now everyone wants to know what to get her and I am like "I don't know"

Shopping cart (they heavy duty kind)

Classes like gymnastics or swim lessons

Balance bike

I would send him one of the recordable night before christmas books and then give that to DD. Less than $50 but i think it would be really nice. One of the gifts from santa this year for my kids is a chalkboard for the playroom since DD is getting into writing and drawing. Thats about $20 on amazon.

Of course you'd have to buy a helmet too, and that would put you over $50. Most of the ones I've seen on Amazon are $15-30.

We got DD three gifts and they were all in that price range or less:

- Cozy Coupe

- Melissa & Doug piano

- Little Tikes basketball hoop

About that balance bike - it says for ages over 3....have any of you all gotten your LO's to ride on that?! I don't think DD would have the coordination or patience quite yet.
