Tampons

Does anyone else have trouble wearing tampons after having their LO? I'm a 'hater' of wearing pads but lately that's all I feel like wearing. They don't hurt being in, but I can pretty much always feel them in there now and they feel uncomfortable. Just wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same thing and if you are just wearing pads for awhile longer or.........?!

I've always been able to feel tampons. They just aren't comfortable at all for me, but like you, I HATE pads. They are so dirty. Look into soft cups if you want something that is disposable and diva cups if you are willing to give reusable protection a try! I can't feel them at all once they are inserted! They don't dry you out and there is no risk of infection with them! Plus, they last up to 12 hours.

I've only had one period since DD was born, and I used pads for it, but I might try tampons with my next period. Sorry I'm no help =/

I haven't gotten my period yet, but when it returned after having DD1, I had the problem that they would ummm slide out a little, making it uncomfortable. I found that the OB brand worked best and it eliminated that problem. If you can get over the fact that there is no applicator, they are a good tampon to try.

I'm the same hate pads, the first couple times i tried tampons it was not comfy. After that I would use them during the day and at night pads to give my whoohaa a break.  That seemed to work, now tampons are pretty much back to normal.

I just started using tampons again with my last period. I am also a pad hater. I feel much cleaner using tampons.

I tried to use supers which is what I always used and it was very uncomfortable. So I switched to regular and paired it with a pad for the first (heavier) day. I found the regular size to be more comfortable.

I am finding that my post partum period is v short but a bloodbath [sorry if tmi!]. My playtex supers are just not doing the job and I have to wear and change a pantiliner quite often. Maybe I will give OB a try bc I am very frustrated w the ineffective playtex recently!

Yes I've had that experience too. But I noticed it wasn't as bad with my last period.
