Helping Children Understand Tragedy

I am heartbroken for the victims and families of the CT shooting. I've been thinking about and praying for them all day, and I've been hugging DS extra tightly.

Thankfully, DS is only one year old and doesn't need an explanation of all that has happened. I'm sure that some of you have older children, though, and I wanted to share these resources with you that I came across, in case you might want some tips for helping your children understand and cope with such tragedy:
