Intro

Hi Ladies - I'm coming over from the IF and TTC>35 board and honestly didn't think I would ever be here.  I'm over the moon excited and really nervous.  After almost three years and two IVF cycles I'm finally pregnant and still have a hard time even saying those words - like I will somehow jinx myself or wake up tomorrow and it won't be true.  My information and history is in my siggy below and my first U/S is next Friday - it seems so early and not sure what they will be able to see at that time.  I'm sure I will have lots of questions that I will need help with and hoping I can answer a few questions for others.  I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies :)
Me 37 MH 40 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!!! EDD 08/19/12

TTC 10/11. HSG 2/12 normal. DH's SA low normal count. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!!

Congratulations! I, too, went through IF for over 3 years with my first pregnancy. So I totally understand how you feel. With this pregnancy, I'm still just as scared, if not, even more so because I'm now 35. But we're all here to support each other, and everyone is great here. Just try to enjoy your 9 months. Good luck!

Sorry I'm late in saying this, but congratulations! I was looking all day Friday and Saturday for an update from you and thought something was wrong. I'm so glad you are here!
TTC since 3/2010. I'm 40, my husband is 47. He had a vasectomy reversal in January of 2010. We tried on our own for almost a year, then went to an RE. 6 IUIs and several cancelled IVF's and another RE later we are pregnant. 11/2012-new RE, new protocol...IVF cycle #6. 8 follicles but only 4 retrieved and 3 fertilized. 2 6-cell and 1 7-cell C grade fragmented embryos transferred on 11/12-BFP! Beta#1-55, Beta #2-153, Beta #3-593 Beta #4-2402 12/5-First u/s shows 2! One looks good, the 2nd one has no yolk sac visible so fingers crossed! 12/12-2nd sac still empty but fetal pole visible in the other sac. 12/19-No heartbeat and no growth since last week. Miscarriage. Final IVF attempt February 2013. Transferred 2 4-cell embryos, one B grade one D grade. 3/7/13-BFP! Beta #1-97, 3/11 Beta #2-1171 3/14 Beta #3-5095 Beta#4-15,580.

I am so happy to see you here!  I got pregnant with my second IVF with ISCS and AH so I know what you mean about it not feeling real.  I am as big as a house and it still doesn't feel real sometimes.  I have read a few articles about how women that have had our struggles have a different pregnancy than those that had it easy.  I really have found this to be true.  We are here to answer your questions, so ask away.
