CT school shooting

Now that I have a child things like this hit me so much harder. I can't even begin to imagine being the parent of the child who was a victim in this mess.

Thoughts & prayers to the families in CT.

Yea. This made me sick to watch. It is an ELEMENTARY school and the guy went in with TWO loaded guns. 

They're saying the shooter is dead (hopefully that's true) but give me a fcking break! Who goes into a school full of BABIES on a fcking shooting spree!

Just fking disgusting.

Ugh.... Now they're saying 18 children and 8 adults have been killed. 

This is truly heartbreaking news. Just before Christmas. I am just sick over this.

ABC has the count at "1:09 p.m.: Twenty-seven people, or more, most of them children killed in shooting, sources tell ABC News."

I'm praying they're wrong. I'm like physically feeling ill over this.

The last update just said that the shooters mother was the kindergarten teacher at the school. He went on a spree to kill his parents. Killed his father in NJ, then went and killed his mother, and many, many other babies in the class.

This makes me physically ill. It hits me so much harder now that I'm a mom.  I don't want to let DS do anything... I don't want him out of my sight.  Which is impossible, since I work and he's in daycare... I can't wait to pick him up and hug him tight tonight.

Ever since becoming a mother, I can't but thinking of my daughter puttung myself in these situations. And just the thought of that happening to those poor innocent children breaks my heart. They must of been so horrified! And not to mention how devastating it must be for the parents, especially with christmas being right around the corner. To make matters worse, I read that in China a man stabbed 22 children also in an elementry school this morning! I mean what is going on!!!???

My stomach is in knots over this! It's so heartbreaking that words can't even describe it! My son is in kindergarten and it terrifies me that this happened!!

I was driving behind an elementary school bus this afternoon. When a little boy got off the bus, I watched a mother run to him and give him the biggest, tightest hug. I imagine there were a lot of scenes like that today. I had done ok all day watching bits and pieces of the story, but witnessing that personal moment between a mother and her son totally got to me. I am trying to hold back tears just replaying it in my head.

I can't stop crying over this situation.  My heart goes out to the families who lost thier children or their mother/wife/sister.  Its another slap in the face of how cruel reality can be, and how people can be so evil.
