Obama's Newtown memorial speech

If you haven't heard it yet I recommend googling it. Very powerful and right on the mark. It brought  tears to my eyes and gave me hope that change may yet come. I so wish that we wouldn't have to hear of another tragedy like this one.

the families of Newtown are still in my mind today and will be through the holidays. As I hug my daughter I can't imagine their pain.  It has been 4 days and I still tear up thinking of the mommies and daddies facing a Christmas without their children.

I agree I think he did a great job. Dropping my third grader off at school this morning was not easy! Although it was good to see a police officer there.

I agree it was such a powerful and moving speech you can't help to get emotional..especially when he read the names of all the victims, I couldn't control my crying..I can't stop thinking about it either, I can't even to begin to imagine what the parents are going through

I keep thinking about Christmas too- feel so bad for those families.
