What did LO start walking or not yet

Just wondering how many LOs are walking at this stage, my LO is 8 months old. He can pull himself to a stand and is starting to walk along with furniture. I'm thinking it'll be a matter of months now! :D

TIA

DS is walking, but he's really early.  He was cruising around furniture at 9 months, first solo steps at 10 1/2, and now just two weeks later he's all over the place.  As long as he can pull himself up with a piece of furniture or something, he's off!  It's amazing how quickly they pick it up!

Our little guy started walking just before 9 months.  It took about two months from when he started cruising to taking his first steps and then about two weeks before he was all over the place!  It's crazy watching him go.  He barely crawls anymore because he figured out how to stand up without needing to pull up on anything.

DD is close, but not walking yet.  She's 11.5mo, she's been pulling up to stand and cruising for a couple of months.  She walks well with a push toy or someone holding her hand.  She took two steps a couple of days ago, but nothing since then.

DD can stand without holding onto anything and can walk with her push walker, but not actually walking yet.  She started pulling up around 7.5 months.

DS will be 11 months in 4 days. he was pulling himself up and walking along furniture about 2 months ago and started walking with a push toy about a month ago. he just started taking steps on his own within the last week or so. every day he takes more and more and goes a little further.

It can be all over the place. LO just started crawling this week at 10 months. She's been focussing on other things. So no, she's not walking nor even pulling herself up. Sometimes I find it frustrating, since the other infant at daycare is 1 week younger than her and has been cruising around the furniture for almost a month now. But they're both well within the normal range.

DD was a walker starting around 9 months.  DS cruises and crawls and has just started forgetting to hold on while standing still holding a toy but he's not walking yet.

My girl is 10.5 months old and no walking.  Cruising and just now trying to stand one her own (for a few seconds only).

My son walked at 10 months and the little boy I babysit for started at 9 months.

I think the average age to start walking is around 13/14 months so anything earlier then that is pretty good.  My niece only just started really walking a couple weeks ago and she is just over 15 months.  She could take a step or two but didn't really walk until now.  My oldest didnt walk until almost 13 months and my youngest (11 months) is just now starting to walk pushing things but no solo steps and I am fine with that!  She's been crusing around furniture for a month or so and pulling herself up for about the same amount of time, but I'm in no hurry to get her to walk.

E started pulling up on furniture at 8 months, but didn't take any steps until exactly 11 months. He's now just 12 months and can take at most 7 steps at a time. I'm sure he'll be running around soon though at this point.

Thanks for all of your feedback ladies! (: I am proud of LO for where he is!

The only thing I'm looking forward to him walking is that I won't have to carry him around every single place. He will be able to walk short trips that'll be nice (:

I was surprised he is learning so fast because I didn't start walking on my own until 19 months old!!!

Not yet... She's pulling up on everything like crazy and can balance w/o holding on for a couple seconds.  I think it's difficult for her because her torso is really long and her legs are kinda short.

He's been pulling up to stand since about 7m and is now cruising along furniture and can walk with a push toy. He is starting to stand independently but no steps yet. I don't think it will be too much longer- he has no fear and loves to try to stand on his own. Once he gains some balance I know he will be off & walking.

DD started standing independently at 14m and took her first steps a week shy of 16m. She has a very cautious personality.

Baby O started walking at 9 1/2 months.  He is crazy.  Now he runs around.  It is sad because I feel like he sped through the baby stage Crying

DD never cruised, just started standing and at 8 1/2 months was walking. Now she's practically running. I've never been so thankful to have a small house :)

DS took his first steps at about 10 1/2 months. he'll walk short distances - like 3 or 4 steps from the coffee table to the couch, but still prefers to crawl to get somewhere fast.

DS started pulling himself up at about 8 months. He "creeped" soon after that, and started walking at 10 months. A month later he's running, haha. I can't keep up with him!

I'm really worried ladies! I think he's going to be walking sooner than I've been thining!!!!

Lol today he was pulling himself up to a stand over and over again like it was nothing and no big deal! Well he just gets stronger everyday of course (:

He's been cruising more and trying to get into everything, and some of the things he has to stand up to reach on his baby-shelves! It's nuts, I get the feeling he's less than a couple months from walking... O.o

I'm just kidding, I'm not really worried though, I'm excited (: but I know he's just going to be an even bigger handful ha ha ;)

Hey there!  Just wanted to letcha know that my LO at 9 months (in a cpl days) isn't crawling yet.  Isn't near pulling herself up either.   I actually find it refreshing to read what you've written, because it seems like everyone around me has a crawler.
