Natural Induction Methods?

I'm due tomorrow, not dilated at all and I haven't had any contractions. Since this isn't my first child, I know it's normal not to have any progress until labor really starts.I don't want to be induced (although it's SO tempting now), but I don't want to be in the hospital on Christmas. Any advice on how to naturally induce labor? Sex, spicy food and walking everywhere are not working...

Please, no comments about how it would be just fine to be giving birth on Christmas: I can't imagine not being with my 2 year old on the first Christmas he's excited for.

I went in for acupuncture on my due date and my water broke less than 24 hours later.  I can't say that acupuncture was the reason....I was having some contractions in the days leading up and we also tried the other methods (sex, spicy foods, walking, etc). 

But, I would gladly pay the $90 again next time for acupuncture.

Nipple stimulation. I read some research in my Bradley loaner binder that it can be quite effective. However, it also said to stimulate for 1hr at a time 3x/day. That is a lot of fondling of ones nipples. 

I would second acupuncture.  
TTC Since 3/2010 Me-34, Unexplained Infertility, DH-33, all clear Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized, ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Anatomy Scan at 19w looks great!

And by no means is this meant to be judgy, but should you end up in the hospital for Christmas have you considered not telling your DS it is Christmas until you get home?

It is a bit unorthodox, but I know a mom that was going to be out of town for business for her son's third bday (completely unavoidable, she was heartbroken), they didn't tell him it was his birthday until the weekend when she was back. They partied just like it was his actual day.

You can try nipple stimulation and, forgive me for being so direct, orgasms. You need to get that oxytocin flowing. I have also heard of women having success with acupuncture or chiropractic care to get things going. FWIW, I have also known women who try it all and nothing happens so don't beat yourself up over it if you can't get things moving. Some babies just aren't ready to come out and want to be stubborn.

I think PP's suggestions of putting Christmas off if you need to is genius. I don't blame you for not wanting to miss the holiday though. I would feel the same way to be honest. Good luck with everything.
