Sports bras for PP running

I want to get started back up on my running routine after my 6 week check up and I am going to need a heavy duty sports bra. I was a DD before baby and have no clue what I am now other than HUGE. Any recs?

Also, is it bad for my breastfeeding to wear a tight sports bra? I have heard of women using them to dry up their supply and I don't want to do that.

And when will it stop hurting? I did a little jog to catch up with DH the other day and OMG my breasts HURT. Thanks ladies!

I never had running or wearing a sports bra affect my suupply.  I wore it for the hour I worked out and took it off immediately afterwards.  With DD1 I mostly did the elliptical, so I was able to get away with a sports bra just a size or two smaller (like a 36C instead of a D).  I started running after DD3 and wore 2 sports bras.  I had ones that were better for side coverage and others that offer more frontal coverage.  I needed both.

I have really liked the moving comfort brand pp. but, I am only a dd now. I want to say the unell brand is popular for large busted women.

Look at Moving Comfort and Enell. They come in band/cup sizes, so they will tend to fit a lot better than many other sport bras.

Also, I had no trouble with a sport bra or running and my supply

I love my Lululemon "Tame the Tatas." They are amazing and my boobs barely move when I run. I wore them before pregnancy and after.

I don't know how a tight sports bra affects your supply.

The other great thing about Moving Comfort is that they work REALLY well for breastfeeding. The straps velcro, making it very easy to unvelcro and feed the baby after a run/race.

I got an Under Armor running bra PP and I'm glad I did!  It was expensive, but my boobs don't move or hurt when running.  I haven't noticed that it affects my supply, but I just wear it for my workouts then change.
