I'm a FTM, but when I imagine myself laboring, I know it will be hard work and I'll want to feel motivated by the music ("calming" spa music grates on my nerves). So, I'll use my running playlists for labor music. It's a lot of upbeat tunes that get me in the mindset of "this is hard, but I can do it!" and that's exactly how I'll want to feel during birth.
I'd make a few playlists of your favorite stuff in case you need some more energy than the relaxing stuff gives.
