Period while BF or EP?

She's back with a vengence! Anyone else have their cycles return while BF/EPing?

Really the only change I've made is not trying to BF every feeding, but I've still managed to pump 7 or 8 times a day, even with the selfimposed pressure off. And over the last three days, DD's actually been interested in BF once a day, although only for a couple minutes. Anyway, I didn't think AF would return for at least a few months while the milk was flowing . . .

ETA: I'm only 10 weeks pp.

She returned for me 8.5mos out. I'd added a second solids feeding per day not long before.

I got my period not quite 4 months PP while BF. I added formula a month before to the mix.
TTC January 2010 BFP #1 10-11-10 ectopic discovered 10-22-10, 10-23-10 methotrexate &emergency surgery, lost right tube BFP #2 12-1-10 Found to be tissue dropped from salingectomy or missed heterotopic pregnancy from BFP #1 BFP #3 1-30-11 DS1 arrived on due date 10-10-11 BFP #4 Surprise 9-3-12 EDD 5-9-13 DS2 arrived 5-5-13

I'm EBF, LO does not STTN, and I got a period at 14 weeks PP.  Haven't had another yet, so I'm curious if it will be a one time/irregular event, or if I will really have normal cycles while BF.

I got mine at 5 months Sad

But, I blame myself because I started the mini pill and missed a pill the first week taking it. 2 days later that witch showed up! Ugh

I got mine once at 4 months and again at 6.5 months.  I was hoping for more of a break from her wrath :)

This.  Mine came back at 6.5 months pp and we had added solids almost a month before.

I was EBF and got mine at 4.5 months pp.  It was tough because latching would hurt a lot once a month and my supply would drop after AF each month.  We made it through: EBF 7 mos and BF for 16 mos (I'd been cycling one year!).  GL!

Unfortunately, yes.  I stopped PP bleeding at 5.5w PP.  She returned two weeks later.  Joy.  I EPed from about 3w PP on.  You'll likely also notice a dip in your milk supply around AF time.  It'll go back up once she leaves.  I also had a spike around O time, but many moms have a dip then too.  
BFP#1 4/17/10...EDD 1/6/11...M/C 5/28/10 BFP#2 11/19/10...EDD 8/4/11 Squeaker born 7/30.

I BF and pump (no formula use) and I've had my period even with being on the mini-pill. My doctor didn't think I'd get one because I was BF and hadn't yet had a period when I started the mini-pill but she was wrong. I 10 weeks pp and had my period around 7 weeks. It sucked!

I was EPing 50oz a day and got AF back at 9w for #1 and EBFing #2 and got it back at 7w PP.

This is how people have 2u1 - you can get KU before the first AF while nursing!
