so ready!

Today is my last full day with students before the break.  Tomorrow, I just give 2 finals, then the kiddos go home.  And Friday, is a half-day work day.  I cannot wait to have 2 weeks off with my little one and this year, DH is taking almost the entire break off too.  

How are you spending the holiday?  Taking time away from work??

I work in Higher Ed, state school, and we have off the 24th through January 2.  Friday can't come fast enough.  This week is killing me though because the rest of my team is out, and the University is switching to a new online learning management system as of Jan. 1--I'm part of the team that is supporting this in our school.  Needless to say, the faculty are freaking about the switch, and it's grade submission time, too, and I'm the only one to help this week.  Feeling a bit overwhelmed.  And I'm sure that January (and the following months) will be crazy so I'm looking forward to just relaxing and enjoying my time off.

Tomorrow is my last day until after the new year.  My company shuts down 12/24-1/1 and Friday happens to be my normally scheduled Friday off, so my vacation begins then!  Then I work 1/2 and 1/3 and have another 3 day weekend.  MH works at the same company, so he'll be home as well.

 

I can't wait!

This is my last full day with kids (they're watching Elf as I type this).!They have a half day tomorrow (teachers have a full day). Then I only have a 1/2 day on Friday (but no one watches the parking lot so most skip out earlier than we are supposed to). We resume 1/7. I need to get my shopping done ASAP. No real plans for break other than family time and relaxing!

My parents are coming from Germany (picking them up in 2 hours!) and will stay through January 1st! I haven't seen my mum in 2 years and my dad in 3 years, so I really can't wait! They will meet Alex for the first time, too.

That is awesome! I hope you have a great visit.
DH and I just have 5 days off work, but I'm excited about that. We are spending Christmas with my family this year which I am also very excited about that.

enjoy the time with your parents!!! How exciting :)

DH is off next week and as of now we have no plans...just relax and enjoy the time the three of us.

i hope everyone enjoys their time off for the holidays!
