Quick, I need ideas...

My parents are coming tomorrow and we will be celebrating Christmas over the weekend with them. I procrastinated and now need to come up with something to give them from us. Last year we did a calendar with DD1...infact that is how we announced to them we were expecting #2.

Any ideas on what to give them? I like to make things, but my time is limited b/c both girls need to be fed and bathed tonight (I am by myself at night). And I need to get bottles ready for daycare tomorrow.

Do you have a photo on hand you could frame? or easily print and then frame? Even better if it's them and one of the girls. Pair it with some gift cards if you want to do more. I like to theme my GCs so this year my parents are getting a night out -- restaurant, movie and ice cream place GCs. I paired the GCs with a photo ornament, but a framed picture would be just as nice!

ETA: jnealet and I evidently had the same thoughts at the same time. Smile

Do they drink coffee or tea?  Plain white mug + sharpies - let your DD color with supervision.  Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.  Turn off the oven, leave mug in. Quick and easy

Make ornaments with the girls' handprints and/or footprints? Or you can make them a basket of stuff.  Homegoods has a lot of stuff good for baskets there. Pick a theme; movies, breakfast, gourmet foods, relaxation, etc.  Maybe you can get them tickets to a show, concert, or sporting event they would enjoy. Good luck!

These might be too expensive depending on how much you want to spend, but other gifts that you can give w/o leaving the house are Omaha Steaks subscriptions (pretty $$$ though) or K-cup subscriptions (if they are into that sort of thing).
