blood test?

Hello all! Long story short, my 7 week old ds has been getting regular blood work done to monitor his jaundice level. On this last test, the dr ordered some additional labs, and it turned out an "allergy" was detected. To what, idk. Dr said the test isnt specific.

No course of action was mentioned aside from repeat labs this coming Monday. I bf. Im kinda freaking out about what it could be. Theres so much info out there about intolerance etc, but i couldnt find much on allergies. I dont even know if this alleged allergy is food related. Can anyone offer insight? Thanks in advance!

Is it maybe a total ige score?  If so, a high score can indicate some sort of allergy but our allergist said it could be food, environmental, seasonal, whatever.  I'd press further.  If you're LO needs more bloodwork for the jaundice, they could run a full Immunocap panel if you're concerned.

This is exactly what they did today. Im hoping for a good, solid answer. I know somethings up with LO, he has a rash all over his chest. Cant wait to get some results.
