I'm not really a fan of weather.com for any real detailed forecasts. I prefer the National Weather Service. http://www.weather.gov/
Enter in your zip code and it will give you daily summary forecasts. If you scroll down a bit on the right side of the screen it should say "Hourly Weather Graph". Click on that and it will give you a graph that includes forecasted rain and snow totals along with the probability of it occuring.
At the bottom of your main page there should also be a link to Forecast Discussion that will give you even more information. There is some technical weather jargon in there but also usually gives you quantities and likelihood.
