Well visit x's 2 today!

We took both kids for their well visits today -

Here are their stats:

DS at 2 yrs old: 25.3 lbs (16th %), 34 inches

DD at 3 months old: 12 lbs 3 oz, 24 inches

 DS did great getting his shots. The doctor distracted him & MH sorta leaned over his face so he couldn't see what the doctor was doing & he barely cried - just a whimper. Then we told him how cool his band aid was & it was all good. (He got a kick out of seeing DD with her boo-boos, too, lol.)

DD was next. She got 3 shots & well...she cried like a baby, lol. I had to nurse her to console her, but even then, she was too upset to even latch right away...poor thing!

They both have colds (thanks to MH, grr) so I was actually nervous that they wouldn't be able to get their shots, but since they didn't have fevers, it was ok.

And I was nervous going into the appt since DS is so skinny, but the pedi wasn't concerned, so that was a relief!

I'm glad their appointments went well. Sorry they're both sick though. Hopefully you don't catch it!

Tomorrow G and B have their well visits too. I'm really worried about the vaccines. My babys are BIG crybabies lol.

LOL, babycakes! When I suggested at DD's last well-visit that maybe we should just combine both the well visits for this month, the pedi was like, "umm, you are brave!" I figured with MH's help, it wouldn't be too bad & it wasn't. Will you have to take them both by yourself, or will you have help?

Yup, Dh will help but hes worried about both kids being fussy...so that makes me worried lol. I'm sure it will be fine...

Yay for good appointment! We go in a couple weeks for the 2yr and 4 month I'm a little nervous about them both getting vaccinated on the same visit but A usually does ok and my sister is going to come and give me an extra hand that day just in case.
