I may not get a Christmas bonus...

But I get poems written by 11 year olds like this-

Being a mother is like no other

when you have a child

your love lasts for miles.

I'm due on Valentine's Day and when my student gave me that it brought tears to my eyes. I love being a teacher.

Awwww!!!! I got one of those sweet cards where a mom attempted to write in English, which you know had to be hard for her! That is a great poem!

I got a recycled Valentine from a boy in my elementary school chess club when I was in college. He gave me one of the girl Valentine's he received and scratched out his name and put mine.

I think I still have it somewhere.

I got them all cards and a pencil or something.
