**~**TTC Again Check In**~**

Hello Ladies! This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.

A check-in will be posted every Wednesday. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. The more the merrier! Let's get this board going again.

Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC journey following SAIF and a response to the QOTW.

Update: Not much new to report.  Last week's 1st beta came in at 119 on Wednesday and 2nd came in on Friday at 234.  I go in for my first u/s this Friday (fingers and toes crossed for a beautiful singleton), and if all looks good, I'll go back the following Friday for another.

QOTW:  No favorites here.  To paraphrase Cookie Monster, If it's a cookie, that's good enough for me!

Update: Had my first apt with the OB yesterday. Things look good with baby. Because of my age we talked about screening tests, I'm going to decline the amnio, instead I will be doing a blood screen (he wasn't sure if it was called the MaterniT21 or not.) I have to go somewhere else to take it and get counseling first. (!?)

QOTW: My mom used to make rocky road candy at Christmas time. Also my friend's MIL makes the best homemade caramel at Christmas time. So yummy! I love getting that as a gift!

Still in 2WW. I will test on Sat. Im thinking BFN because Im having no symptoms like with DS. Im surprisingly okay with it. Maybe its because I selfishly want to get my drink on for the holidays. Or I could be in denial. Ha!!!

Imoverit- The 2WW sucks, I hope yours ends with a BFP and a holiday mock-tail :)

Update: Well I have been testing since 3dp5dt (yes, insane I understand). I got a BFP with Chloe 7dp3dt so assumed that I would see those two beautiful lines this morning at 5dp5dt- I was wrong. That was tough. Now I just tested again and either I'm totally seeing things, or there may be the lightest second line ever. I'm praying that it gets darker with tomorrow's test!

QOTW: I really love good old fashioned chocolate chip cookies, and the pb cookies that have a Hershey's kiss smooshed in them!

QOTD: sugar cookies with icing and sugar sprinkles are my fave. :)

i had my regular OB appt. and everything is going well. baby sounded healthy and strong. most important part about this fairly uneventful appt. was that we scheduled our gender u/s for the next appt.! :):)

update:  Had my baseline u/s and b/w today so my FET cycle officially starts NOW :)  tomorrow I will start 2 shots a day plus estrogen supps.  Fun fun fun.  Transfer scheduled for 1/8.

QOTD: I guess sugar cookies, iced and with a mess of sprinkles dumped on by my kids.

So glad i was able to pop in on a check in! My cycles are getting shorter and shorter which is so frustrating because I used to be clock work and even then I couldn't get pg on my own. I O'd on CD6 this month. Argh! At least I ovulated though. I'm still hoping and praying for a surprise BFP before going back to IVF.
Two years, two rounds of IVF, AH, ICSI & Acupuncture brought us sweet baby G born 10/20/11

DH and I are undergoing testing right now in prep for a May or June IVF cycle to TTC # 2. We are planning the cycle timing around DH's major jaw surgery....should be a fun year for medical expenses! ;)

Update - Had our weekly u/s yesterday and the baby looks perfect...measuring spot on and hb was 170!

With this IVF cycle my first positive was sooooooo very light that I swore I was seeing things too! DH didn't see it at all. Sure enough it got darker the next day and he was on board. GL!!!

No real update, trying to figure things out.  I hope DH agrees to another IVF/ICSI try in 2013.  Wishing everyone well!!!

QOTW:  We celebrate Chrissmanukah in our home.  For Chanukah sufganiyot is traditional it is fried like a doughnut and usually filled with jelly but we filled ours with vanilla creme and nutella too this year.  For Christmas no roll sugar cookies and the twins decorated them too this year, easy and fun.

Nothing much to update this week.  I keep forgetting to tell you my EDD kbeach!  It's 6/25/13.  GTT is on Monday and I'm praying I pass.  I'm not ready for the GD diet this early!  I plan on asking my MFM at my appt next Friday if they can get me in for an u/s at 16 weeks for a gender guess so I don't have to spend $100 at our local mom spa/ultrasound place.  All my u/s are covered by my insurance (and they bill after every appt rather than global billing).  So I'm hoping they will agree even though they will probably think I'm nuts!

QOTW:  My mom makes these spritz cookies.  They are small and basically all butter and sugar and she tops them with colored sugar.  She makes them in a cookie press so they are always shaped like snowflakes and trees.  Love them!

update: Saw my OB last week and she gave us a referral to the RE! We are going to wait until the new year before making an appt. For now we are TTC on our own. I don't think I ovulated last month but I'm currently waiting to O this cycle.

QOTD: my favorite holiday cookies are Gingerbread men but maybe because that's the only time I get them!

Update: Back to the beginning of my cycle, hoping this month thing's go back to normal as my last cycle was all over the place.  DH is a trooper & taking about 16 different supplement's daily, at the very least he will be VERY healthy :)

QOTW: Walker's shortbread cookies YUM!
TTC on our own for many years finally moved on to IF treatment,diagnosis for me, ovaries with PCO appearance, hypothyroidism, DH MFI, IUI 1-3 BFN moved on to IVF, IVF #1 BFP! No frosties :( B/G twins born 10/12/11. IVF #2 August 2012, BFP ended in cp :( FET November, BFFN. IVF #3 at CC.RM Antagonist low stim protocol with CCS testing, ER 4/23/13, 21R, 18M, 14F. 8 day 5 & 2 day 6 blasts biopsied & frozen. CCS results 4 normals 5AA, 5AB, 5AB, 5BB, 2 no result 5BB, 4BB. QOTW:  My mom makes these spritz cookies.  They are small and basically all butter and sugar and she tops them with colored sugar.  She makes them in a cookie press so they are always shaped like snowflakes and trees.  Love them!

Yay for all the bfps and good ultrasounds and betas!

Update:  Appointment went great.  Good heart beat.  They did another urine culture and it came back positive.  Going to stay on a low does of antibiotics until delivery.  And unless I measure way ahead on A/S on Jan 15 then my EDD is staying at June 5th.  I think that's not correct but I'll take it because it might give me a better chance at a VBAC.

QOTW:  I like pretty much any cookie.  I think my family's quintessential Christmas cookie is Butter Balls....or what most of the world calls Polish Wedding Cookies.  Soo good!

I start lupron on Monday, bc's and antibiotics now.
