Ultrasound shows fluid around head and chest anyone else?

I am 13 weeks and had our first ultrasound last week that showed our baby had fluid on the chest and head.  The head measurment was 12mm and normal is 3mm so they were certain it was a chromosome adbnomality.  They did a CVS and ruled out chromosome abnormality, now they think it might be the heart or some other genetic syndrome.  They also told us because of the fluid around the chest the heart is working harder and baby might not survive until birth. So we are heartbroken and hoping for a miracle.  We have already had to previous miscarriage.   Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with something similar.

Big hugs to you mama!!!!  Our little one did not have the same issues as yours, but I did find out we had abnormal at our 20 week ultrasound.  I hope they can find answers for you and that your little one has a good outcome.  Although I can't share in the exact same experience, I do know how you feel.  Scared, anxious, hopeful, scared and scared!  The only thing that got me through was telling my baby EVERYDAY that I love you and you are an amazing baby that is very special.  I would look in the mirror every AM and say "today I am pregnant and I love my baby".   Sadly our LO's heart stopped at 26 weeks and we lost her (due to Trisomy 18).  I know you may not want to go over to the Loss board yet (hopefully you NEVER have to) but a lot of those ladies know what you are feeling and maybe someone there might have some help.
