teeny, tiny bruises

I have teeny, tiny bruises all over my arms. Why, you ask? They're from G. She has been pinching me while nursing for the last two weeks. I thought it was just something she'd do for a little bit but it's all the time now.

It hurts, my arms look ridiculous and I'm tired of it. I need help ladies. What would you do or have you done in this situation?

Just had this convo with a friend experiencing the same issue. She found putting a small blanket corner in LO's hand helped a lot. When it gets really bad she puts mittens on her. She's going with the idea that it's a phase and she just needs to survive it.

K is getting a lovey for christmas and I hope it helps - she likes to pull on my shirt or grab and squeeze, sometimes she smacks my chest with the top hand so that's fun.

When C started biting while nursing I would just pull her off, wait a few seconds and then let her back on again.  She figured it out quickly that this wasn't acceptable! But keeping something in their hands def helps!

Ouch!
Dunk snaps my bra strap or whacks himself in the forhead. I guess they like to do something repetitive while nursing????
I give him my finger to hold and that sometimes helps.

Oh, man!  You scared me.  I think this was going to be about bruises all over one of your babies.

Can you give her a toy to hold or wave around.  Or, let her clutch part of your clothing?

She used to hold and play with the top layer of my shirt but apparently that's not good enough anymore. I suppose I'll try and find something more entertaining for her little hands. Thanks ladies.
