Cookie dough Q?

Believe it or not, I've never frozen cookie dough before. I just made a double batch of oatmeal coconut cookie dough for a party tomorrow and want to save the rest for us. It's now Saturday night and I'll make the rest of the cookies either Monday night or Tuesday morning. Do I freeze the dough or just keep it in the fridge? If I freeze it, how long will it take to thaw?

Fridge should be fine but if you freeze it, roll it into a log.  That way all you have to do is slice it and drop it onto the cookie sheets.

Agreed.

And if it's in a log I don't think it would take too long to thaw.  If you have a good knife you can cut it while it's still mostly frozen, put it onto the cookie sheet and let it finish thawing for a few minutes there  (I think).

Good idea to freeze it, you could have kept it in the freezer, but then all it does is call your name all.night.long wanting you to sneak a taste...

or at least that's what happens to me.
