Just a short intro since I honestly can't remember if I have introduced myself on here or not. :-)Miles Ivan was born on 12/11/12 weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz and 21" long. I labored the majority of the time at home and he was born naturally a couple of hours after I was admitted in the hospital. I had all my other kids naturally as well (including Annabelle, my angel) and had a difficult time mentally trying to get through it. I kept going back to Annabelle's birth and for some reason just kept imagining Miles not being able to go home with me either. Luckily I have an amazing DH and midwife who helped me through and I was able to do it without medication. We had some issues with his blood sugar and lack of urination at the hospital, but he is doing fabulously now and at a 6 day weight check he was already up to 8 lbs 3 oz! My healing is going well and besides the typical tired and crazy emotions I am doing really well and am able to enjoy my little squish. I am excited to be joining this board and hope to become more active as I get more settled into our routine!
