Anyone have any experience with this? I'm a nurse, and work 2 12hr shifts/week. 7p-730a. My OB said she doesn't really know if/how I will be able to keep my sugars under control with this schedule. She isn't taking me out of work, she's leaving it up to the endocrine dr. I haven't worked since I got diagnosed, so I'm not sure what it will do to my sugars. My next scheduled day is Christmas night.
Has anyone worked nights with GD? I really would like to continue working if possible, but my health and little guys health are obviously more important. I have an appt monday and I'm anxious what they are going to say about my work schedule. Plus, it's going to look terrible getting taken out of work Christmas eve when I'm supposed to work the holiday.
