Riddle me this...

I fell square on my right hip/upper thigh today on my hardwood floor. Six hours later, I'm incredibly sore - on my left hip and leg. What gives??

Oh, and the reason I fell was because I got up and my foot had fallen completely asleep to the point where I couldn't bear weight on it. I tried once and my ankle completely collapsed. I was a little terrified that I could have broken it (considering I couldn't feel it at all).

It's a blog. It's not very funny. But it's very random.

I've done that before!   Have you been limping?  Limping will cause pain to the other leg.  Or did you move it in a funny way while you were falling to cause it to pull?  (Can you tell I've had experience w/ wipe outs?)

Ugg. That is awful. At least nothing is broken. I had a friend who broke her ankle that way when she was pregnant. She was sitting at her desk, went to get up to go pee, didn't realize her right leg had gone to sleep. She stepped on it and broke it in three places. I felt so bad for her. I hope you feel better. Praying for no bruises!

Tara, that is exactly how it happened, but thankfully I didn't break it. I will have to be more careful when I get up now.

Katie, I do think I pulled something. It is still tender, all the way up to my shoulder.

Bonus: May and I slept in the recliner last night because she was having some sort of issue. I can't tell yet if it helped or hindered.

ETA: I feel really freaking old.

Not old, PREGNANT!  Pregnancy does some messed up things to our bodies.  While pg w/ D, T started this weird grunting thing when she would pick things up from the floor, stand up from the floor, etc.  I was beginning to be concerned something was wrong until I realized she was mimicking my grunts when I did those things.   Embarrassed
