bluebonnetmeg:I am kindof a Tolkien snob/purist, so I really hated a lot of the added stuff. I also don't like that they are making three movies. I could see two, but three seems a little excessive. Radagast was not necessary. The singing was fantastic though, and the dwarves were great (there could have been more beards though).
It's been a long time since I read the book, but yeah, they are really having to work to get three movies out of it. I'm also of the opinion that there can ALWAYS be more beards!
